My cousin and I stayed at the Flamingo Cancun Resort for three nights and 4 days. The place was spotless, you could eat off the floors. The staff was friendly and professional. There was a bit of a snafu at the start, not their fault, that they straightened out immediately. The food was delicious and varied every day. The pool... More

I'm going to start with the good point for this hotel which is it sits on a very nice part of the beach. As for my experience we had numerous issues with the hotel and will not return and do not recommend it. We booked on-line for the all inclusive package (Expedia) and were shown various amenities including access to... More

I recently stayed at the Flamingo for a wedding, which was a few hotels over and fully booked. The room was ok, clean and spacious, but the bathroom has a very unpleasant odor, like feces. My first day, I called to notify them, and they came and the odor was dissapated. The second day, it was back with a vengence.... More

For what we payed, the Flamingo was fine as a place to stay. Pros- location, great beach outside, a few pools to choose from (including a hot tub). Cool looking kids area on the beach with hammocks, mini deck chairs etc. Cons- not many if any. It's not high-end luxury but it is a solid place to stay. Not overly... More

I decided to book this hotel because it is in the center of hotel zone. I traveled alone and wanted a safe hotel that was centrally located. I am happy that I chose this hotel. Check in was fast, and friendly. I got upgraded to an ocean view room and the view was amazing. The hotel was very quiet, and... More

Been coming to the Flamingo for many years. But lately the hotel has had many improvements. It has the best beach in Cancun, and its location is perfect, right in the middle of the hotel zone. The food is really good. One tip, ask for the 5th or 6th floor, those are executive floors with improved rooms and free internet.

Last year I said there was much improvement at the Flamingo over 2012, sorry to say the only improvement I saw this year was the slope down to the water was not as steep so was a lot easier to go up and down. Upper Pool: chairs still mostly broken as they were last year Food: No improvement at all.... More

Hugely disappointed with this hotel. Constant long queues at reception. Had to ask 6 times at reception (and also an assistant manager) for air con in bedroom to be repaired. Eventually I spoke to the general manager who arranged for repair. Cock roaches on floor in bedroom. General manager blamed the fact that we were in a ground floor room... More

We went at the Flamingo Hotel for a week in March, me and my husband. We didn't choose the all inclusive, so I don't know how was the food, but about the hotel it self is good, is kind old, but have all the comforts, a nice pool, great view of the ocean, and the staff is very kind. Is... More
