My wife and me, we were there for a week (July 13-19 2014). I was impressed how nice and polite everyone was. We booked the airport - hotel transportation with the Solaris shuttle which was kind of expensive ($16/person one way for about 15 min trip). We got to the hotel around 1:45 pm. By 2 PM we were already... More

The Royal Solaris is a perfect place to stay for couples and families. The all- inclusive is the way to go. The resort is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will be going back as soon as possible. Great value for your money. Loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a 3 star resort, but you get what you pay for. Compared to the other hotels that are available to you, this one definitely falls in the middle of the pack. I've been to Cancun once and stayed at the Riu Caribe which I would say is 3.5 stars compared to this hotel. I'm 29 I traveled with... More

Food was okay. Lunch was not great, had the same options of pizza or fried food every day unless you sat down in a restaurant. Some of the dinner food I had was very good, but overall just average. The room was very nice, comfy beds, however we had issues checking into our room. We were unable to check in... More

There are three Solaris properties in Cancun and I am sure that all have excellent service but we spend a week at Royal Solaris Cancun, right next door to the Caribe and we were amazed. The hotel has the best view for the sea and the lagoon. The food is average quality but there are 3 restaurants at Royal Solaris,... More

My wife and I go to Cancun every summer for about two weeks. (Half the cost is just getting there; so staying a few extra days is worth it!) There are three Solaris properties in Cancun and one in Cabo. Be careful when you choose yours. Here are some very important things to keep in mind: WHERE TO STAY: 1.... More

Very nice resort. Family oriented and seemed to be very concerned that everyone was having a good time. The outside area was absolutely beautiful and it was obvious that they hotel cared about how it looked. The on-site restaurants were very good! Most of the front desk staff was extremely nice and the concierges were just as friendly. Neither seemed... More

We arrived at Royal Solaris on July 4, 2014 and left on July 8, 2014. We had a very enjoyable time. It is a family resort - but it is also a quiet relaxing resort. We are 44 and 46 and did not have kids with us. We stayed in room 1612. We did not pay for an oceanview but... More

This was the second time we have stayed here. We chose it again because the food was good last time, service was great, and I felt safe taking my two teenagers here without my husband. The second trip did not disappoint us either. Everyone was so friendly and the staff even commented working here is like working with your family... More

We travel a lot, at least three times a year, and the Royal Solaris hotel was by far the WORST we have ever been to. The rooms weren't clean, the food was horrible, and overall our one week at the Royal Solaris was a disaster. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away from this place!
