My wife and I go to Cancun every summer for about two weeks. (Half the cost is just getting there; so staying a few extra days is worth it!) There are three Solaris properties in Cancun and one in Cabo. Be careful when you choose yours. Here are some very important things to keep in mind: WHERE TO STAY: 1.... More

Very nice resort. Family oriented and seemed to be very concerned that everyone was having a good time. The outside area was absolutely beautiful and it was obvious that they hotel cared about how it looked. The on-site restaurants were very good! Most of the front desk staff was extremely nice and the concierges were just as friendly. Neither seemed... More

We arrived at Royal Solaris on July 4, 2014 and left on July 8, 2014. We had a very enjoyable time. It is a family resort - but it is also a quiet relaxing resort. We are 44 and 46 and did not have kids with us. We stayed in room 1612. We did not pay for an oceanview but... More

This was the second time we have stayed here. We chose it again because the food was good last time, service was great, and I felt safe taking my two teenagers here without my husband. The second trip did not disappoint us either. Everyone was so friendly and the staff even commented working here is like working with your family... More

We travel a lot, at least three times a year, and the Royal Solaris hotel was by far the WORST we have ever been to. The rooms weren't clean, the food was horrible, and overall our one week at the Royal Solaris was a disaster. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away from this place!

First year me and my hubby went alone we loved it so much we came back. We have come back again to Royal Solaris Cancun. This time we came with our 5 kids. The kids loved it even more. They did not want to leave. You make friends here, they treat you like family. This is an awesome place to... More

Full disclosure - we are members....Stayed here the second week in June. We brought 2 18 year old boys celebrating graduation. We all had a great time. There was a miscommunication as to perks received, but the guest services staff worked to make sure it was resolved satisfactorily to all. We had two 1-bedrooms and they both had been updated... The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful and very polite and pleasant. They would accomodate any request (within reason) made. The food was OK. There was a wide variety and food was available most any time of the day, but it was rather bland most of the time. The room was nice as hotel rooms go. It was clean,... More

Food is nice for hotel Price, everything is very clean, but there are a couple of issues: 1.- there is a food smell at the principal hall, and 2.- there was a noise from a generator in the evening, fortunately they shut it down at 23:00. i want to make a special mention for Abner Bares for his exceptional sevice.
