I am 18th and its been my 3rd time at the Grand oasis cancun. I was there with my parents in 2009 and enjoyed so I came back in 2010 and now just arrived from a trip with my bestfriend. When we arrived (booked with Sunwing) we were told that we were VIPs. They gave us champagne, a tequila bottle,... More

We cannot understand the negative reviews about this resort-in our opinion, this place is almost perfect for everyone. First and foremost, the staff at Grand Oasis is by far the best we have ever encountered at any hotel. They were ALL incredibly kind and courteous and they all went out of their way for us. We arrived early morning and... More

1. let bellmen show you to your room or the staff will send you to every building EXCEPT the building your room is in AND torment you all week with bad information. 2. Front desk staff cannot direct you to a restaurant correctly. They will send you to the opposite side of the property, knowingly. 3. Room doors are not... More

Stayed over the holiday season and it was a relaxing vacation. The beach is stunning and the pool areas are clean. We had the gold bands and had access to all areas and that is definitely worth the extra money. A mix-up at check-in but they fixed it fairly quick. Our room was in the pyramid with an ocean view.... I had been several times in Cancun for business, but this time was with my family. the facilities are strong well built, the rooms are excellent. Because we wanted to spend the main part of our time in the hotel, we decided to acquire an all inclusive plan. Nevertheless we had time to go X caret, Xel Ha, Isla Mujeres... More

Good all inclusive hotel, loads of pool space and sunbeds........food was good in the buffet area, the a la carte restaurants were good too. There are different levels of All Inclusive - if you upgrade you get to use more bars, more restaurants and also get better liquor in the extra bars - we found it worth the extra money!... More

First time in mexico and not the last !!Me and my boyfriend enjoyed every second of our stay there. The staff is exceptionnally nice and seem to really enjoy working there ! We didn't feel as if we had to tip all the time for them to give us a better service, even if we did quite often. The food was... More

This hotel is clearly not for families! Strictly for the 16-21 yrs. the hotel was in horrible condition, toilets made loud noises. It rained one day and there was puddles everywhere inside the resort. Hotel staff were disorganized! No one quite knew what was being offered at the resort and language was not a barrier with us. definitely not going... More

I traveled to the Grand Oasis Cancun with a group of friends during the MLK holiday long weekend, there were 8 of us in total. We had a wonderful experience and feel as though we got excellent value for our money. I will agree with other reviewers that the check-in procedure was a bit longer than desired, but we did... More
