We spent holiday time there and we choose to stay at this hotel because we found it very convenient mainly because of its location. I consider we got more than expected because of the price (it is an affordable hotel) but we were glad to receive really good service from the staff; also, the facilities were clean and comfortable.

This hotel was situated in the heart of the downtown area close to parks, markets, restaurants and good bars. The hotel was very clean and the maid service was quite good each day. The beds were comfortable and not like laying on concrete as in many Mexican hotels. We did not try the restaurant, because there were just too many... More

We actually live on Isla Mujeres and decided to do some shopping and night life in Cancun , the hotel was near some very good restaurants and dance bars ,so it was a good location , Hotel was clean but the pool was pretty shaded do to its location (the hotel surrounds it) so a laying out in the sun... We felt like it was a great location choice - close to the buses that got us everywhere in Cancun and beyond to Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Morelos etc. The housekeeping seemed strangeand the supplies that they left us were very erratic throughout the week. The swimming pool was mostly cold in January and recieved very little sun.

Rooms are large and clean, location is good for cancun City, close to bus station and one of the main roads for restaurants and bars. I wouldn't want to stay for more than 1 night though as there isn't much to do. Road its in is a building site, so be careful if you walk around.

It's cheap but even the low price does not justify how bad this place is. We booked the hotel on Expedia and when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. After a long ride from Merida, we were dead tired and we didn't want to look for another hotel. They double charged for a room we already paid on Expedia... More

The location of the hotel is great, close to the Cancun markets where you can get a great cheap meal, (steer clear of the restaurants close to the hotel because like a lot of Cancun they are tourist traps) as well as the bus station to get back out to the airport. Compared to Mexican hotels in this price range... More

We stayed at the Ramada for a night to be able to get to the airport for our flight the following day. The hotel and restaurant staff was very friendly and courteous. The room, though quite dated, was very spacious and clean. There two double beds and plenty of space for luggage. There is no fridge in the room, but... More

This may be the worst place I've ever stayed. It's only advantage is its location near the center of Cancun and the ADO bus station. Other than that, it's a nightmare. The single worst thing about it is that it is directly across the street from a dance club that emits a pounding beat until 6:00 a.m. I requested non-smoking... More

The Ramada is simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls are paper thin, the place is extremely noisy and the staff made no effort to quieten noisy guests. Meanwhile when we went to reception to ask about a taxi to the bus station the hotel tried to rip us off, quoting 100 pesos for the fare... More
