This is as good value for money base to do other things. The location is great, the rooms are in good condition and clean, and security is good. The pool is also nice. The staff are ok, not overly helpful but not rude. The breakfast is a bit disappointing though.

I loved everything about this hotel. Beautiful, convenient, peaceful. We had a Studio King size, the room was good, views from windows were great. This hotel is unique with it's location and special atmosphere. I'm glad I was there and I would love to return some day)

The hotel it's ok for what it costs. The rooms are clean and the pool is nice. It is next to the lagoon. Breakfast is awful, you only get some pieces of bread, some fruit, juice and coffee. If you don't plan to expend a lot of money in the trip, I guess this is your hotel. Another good point... More

If your looking for an inexpensive hotel walking distance to shopping, night life and the larger resorts then this is a good place to be. This isn't the type of place you stay because the amenities. You stay here because your not going to stay at the hotel except to sleep. They do have a decent swim up bar and... More

Very nice hotel. The only minus icould mention is the breakfast that is included, you get just bread, fruits and drink, but even this was ok. Very clean, stuff cleans the room every day. All the stuff is very friendly and nice. Nice view to the lagoon.

Because everytime we travel, we rarely spend time in the hotel, we decided to go for something cheap during our stay in Cancun. Clipper Club fit our budget, and we got what we paid for. The wifi is only available in the hotel lobby, but it's free. As some people previously mentioned, the bed is rather hard and I wish... More

We booked here as it was on the lagoon and where our dive guide took the boat from (not Scuba Fred who is the scuba diver linked to the Clipper Club. We used Luum Ha Divers who work from the same boat. I HIGHLY recommend Luum Ha Divers-please see the reviews posted on here as Alfredo and Fernando are just... More

We got this room through my in-laws time-share. Cancun wasn't our top pick but it was the only thing available. We rented a car, so we weren't in a taxi or shuttle, so we spent nearly an hour driving the hotel zone looking for the Clipper Club. Every time we asked for directions we got different answers, no one seemed... More

I had debated booking based on the number of negative reviews, but it's OK, really. For some reason that baffles me, people seem to have high expectations of this place. If you pay $60 a night, you're going to get a $60 dollar room. The pool is fine and big, the property is generally well maintained, location is close to... More

This must be the worse place I've ever stayed in. I don't even know where to begin. The location is central but in order to get to hotel you have to go across this dirt parking lot with giant potholes and dilapidated buildings surrounding you. This place does not need renovations, it needs to be torn down and re-built completely.... More
