The on duty-manager during my stay, Felipe, caused me the most troubles. He constantly referred to me as "Hey Lady!", was rude in tone, and consistently provided me with misinformation during my entire stay. I was informed during the booking there would be in-room WiFi. There was not (it was only partially functionally in the lobby area at best). I... More

This review is a little late, approximately 1 year ago this week. Clipper Club is wonderfully located near the entrance to the hotel zone and many local places (restaurants, bars, clubs). However, the entrance to the place is difficult to find. There are no visible signs indicating the location (perhaps they have updated since then). However, the place is nice... More

A mixed bag. Undeniably a once handsome property. However, now in urgent need of TLC from owners. Large but markedly dated rooms do little to lift the air of fading lustre. Furthermore, depending on luck of the draw, pax may face an absolute horror show in the bathroom department. Car-wash/garden-hose strength shower "heads" make showering difficult and, at times, dangerous.... More

I've been to many very nice all inclusive resorts before but for this trip we wanted our accommodations cheap so we could eat local and do activities. Let me address THE CONS that others have posted before: It was clean except that the bedding might not look fresh and new, and you'll see ants here and there(so pack away opened... More

The Clipper Club is a clean, well maintained property that is tucked back by the lagoon just across from the Cancun Convention Center at the north east point of Cancun island. There is a nice shopping center, a flea market, several restaurants of all price ranges, and some of the hottest nightlife that is easily walkable. This year they just... More

By working in a Hotel in Canada myself, I do recognize the complains the Americans and Canadians are making. North Americans found themselves better then anybody else, Stop being so arrogant and find yourself so important. By booking a Low Budget Hotel means you don't have the money to spend to stay in a 5 star luxury resort! So please... More

Things to know: This is a resort that has private owners as well as international guests. If you want to have a good experience you need to know what the owners know: 1. Ask for a jug of water and dispenser for the room. It costs $5 and is well worth it. Even though it says you can't drink the... More
