This hotel should not advertise that they have kitchens. A Mini Fridge, coffee maker and a microwave are not a kitchen. The dishes provides are hit and miss- 3 small plates, but 7 large ones. Dear Manager: We enjoyed your facility, it was clean and the staff was very helpful. For English speaking people you TRULY need to do some thing about the TV cable service. Too many Spanish speaking channels. Fox news would've been appreciated and some other English programs. Subtitles are hard to follow. Also, an electric cook top would be very helpful.... more

We are Avalon members and have been for approx. 6 years. Every year the resort "corporation" takes amenities away. This year it was: no alcohol at members bar before 12 at the Grand and beer was served in a styrofoam cup at the Reef....yummy. very very disappointing. From what I have seen when choosing a hotel in Cancun it really depends on what you want. Do you want lots of organized activities, absolutely perfect rooms and 5 on-site restaurants?
