We went to the aquamarina hotel last week for 3 days. Most everything was sold out or ridiculously expensive so we went to this hotel. It was still a good price, about 120 Canadian a night for 2 people in a room. So I admit it was cheap. But as they say you get what you pay for. I wont... More

I've been to Canccun 4 times prior and never had any problems with my tour operator or Hotel. We arrived early in the morning and check in was 4pm, do we decided to go to the pool, on the pool we noticed a large amount of seagulls that attacked anybody with food whose eating in the open hut or have... I will say that the grounds were impeccable, but we lost 2 nights sleep due to some workers deciding to cut some metal for some purpose beginning at midnight through 2 AM, then weekend "entertainment" with very loud music lasting into the wee hours. Walls are paper thin! Front desk staff were less than helpfui. I would never go back.

Don't believe all the harsh reviews below, they aren't fair and do not do it justice. Firstly, its at about 4km into the hotel zone, which means less time on the bus - it takes about 10-15 mins to and from downtown Cancun, or 10 mins into the main area of the hotel zone and by the beach (at about... We chose this resort because it was reasonably priced, we found it a very clean and very friendly staff, so helpful, jorge, santiago and irvin just to name a few, food was good but found they really catered for mexicans but was not a problem we td most things. Entertainment in the day wasnt much, not that we wanted it,... More

I was a little apprehensive reading the reviews and knowing how cheap this all inclusive was compared to others- but let me tell you, this place was above the price. Every single staff member went above and beyond! They all work so hard and are cleaning non-stop. The rooms were great and all with ocean view. (They don't have blow... More

This place is just ok, When we arrived the lounge was filled with what looked more like locals. Service at the bar was painfully slow. food wasnt' great, even the pizza was terrible. We only stayed on night as they had messed up our reservations, but it was a blessing, as we got to move to a much nicer hotel.... More

Stayed with eight friends in 4 separate rooms. Some of the our group received upgrades to the Jr. Suites which were slightly larger and included a sofa. The free Wi-Fi in all rooms and hotel properties was generally good. Staff was friendly; the entertainment was typical fare and tried to accommodate both the locals and non-Spanish speaking guests. I believe... More

stayed here for 9 nights with my family in December, only one member of staff was rude (a woman)in a big rush and insensitive to our needs and wants. We were offered an upgrade since our original room was not available. I was told that using the kitchen and utensils and fridge would cost additional? I complained about this( an... More
