Arrived Oct 17. Took one hour to get through Customs. We used Cancun Express ($45/rt) to transport to Royal Sands --outstanding communication and service. The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to the bus system (which would take you just about anywhere for less than $1 US one-way). Royal Sands was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The pools were gorgeous with an excellent view of the sea. The poolside service was terrific. The food was delicious. The location was perfect. We had the best vacation ever! more

This was our third visit to the Royal Sands Resort and I would recommend it to anyone. I am unsure if you are able to stay there without owning a week or trading in thru RCI or Interval International. The views are wonderful from anywhere on the property. I was in Cancun for 7 days and everyday was an awsome experience, Jose from the bar in the pool has the greatest heart ever, Eduardo from the bar in the hotel is a great singer and very friendly, Carla, Victor, Luis, everyone treated me and my friends with the most respect. It was a wonderful experience. more
