We stayed at the Intercontinental as we have visited many of their other hotels worldwide
My overall impression was very positive. we stayed on the 4th floor with a lagoon view and paid about £75 a night room only.
The pool area is clean and quiet the room was great and the beach was fantastic in comparison to other beaches...

We stayed at Presidente InterContinental Cancun Resort for 3 days.
This hotel has seen better days as it is dated but the beach makes up for it if you are looking for a great beach vacation without staying at a mega resort
Overall this is decent hotel with amazing beach but the hotel itself is dated
