We booked this hotel as we wanted a simple, non-all-inclusive hotel close to the hotel zone and also close to downtown Cancun, with a decent beach. And this is exactly what we got. We were never going to be spending too much time in our room so the upper ground floor room we had overlooking the tennis courts facing towards... More

Where do I start with this one? I decided to book this place because it was so cheap. I have stayed in many one and two star hotels before and they do not bother me. Upon check in we had to wait in line for about twenty minutes no big deal a group of 60 Mexicans rolled in. When we... More

There were a number of issues we had with the vacation pertaining to the accommodations. I am going to go through in sequential order day by day as this will help show the progression of the issues at hand. I booked this vacation with my boyfriend in order to celebrate our anniversary, so it held particular sentiment to us and... More

I booked the trip for my daughter & myself prior to reading the trip advisor reviews. Once I read the reviews I was getting very nervous, but for no reason! The hotel is wonderful- my daughter is having a great time in the pool and the beach is gorgeous. The rooms are simple but we are only in there to... More

Having arrived here and reading the reviews I really cannot understand how people can be so negative about this place. It maybe 3 star but I feel it was more than value for money. The hotel staff were falling over themselves to help you and nothing was too much trouble. The food was a little repetitive but non the less... More

great time to be had during february spring break. the hotel is slowly being fixed up. finally there is some sort of covering on the patio of the restaurant.(outdoors) so if its raining or windy there is a bit of a reprieve. still a good place to come but i found it a bit pricey this time. compared to the... Myself and my husband stayed here for 7 days, and it was just like the other reviews say. The pictures are very deceiving. The first room we stayed was old and smelled of bleach. The sink and toilet were leaking so we had to get a different room. The second room was actually pretty decent. The room service was bad.... More

We are always willing to change the room, if there is availability, to satisfy our guests. We inform our customers to leave towels on the floor if they want them to be replaced, otherwise we understand that they are clean. Taste of food is very subjective and we respect your comments about food but no type of bugs can crawl... More

Got a very no frills room for cheap for only 2 nights. Love Dos Playas! Fabulous friendly staff and the grounds are beautiful. We ate one meal there and for hotel food, it was probably some of the best I've ever had, it was delicious! Only negative comment is that I'd like to have more lights in our room and... More

First I need to say that I was little afraid before trip, when I check reviews about hotel. But was to late to change anything, and I happy that I don't do it anything! Hotel was fine, and price which we pay was great! Cancun is really expensive in this area, so pay so little was great deal. When we... More
