This hotel has the best location and nicest staff! Beautiful restaurant with excellent food - seems to be the local place to meet as well. Downsides: if you enjoy sitting by the pool this is not for you. Pool is extremely small and there is no shaded areas. The only other "strange" thing was the size of the bathroom, which... more

We had a large room (jr suite) which was immaculately clean. The bathroom was small. The hotel has no charm. It is a big, international standard hotel, like so many around the world. But it was restfull, close to the historical centre, offers a secure parking and a decent breakfast and really provides what the traveller wants, but no more.... more

It is a rather big business hotel. The rooms are ok, but nothing special. The hotel has a big restaurant and a small pool. It is as most business hotels, it lacks charme. But the location is very good. The centre and the zocalo are at walking distance. more

I stayed 3 nights as part of a package with a fly fishing guide. The front desk staff were very pleasant at check-in and all spoke basic English or understood my Spanish. To call the US using a calling card you need the front desk staff to "allow" your room phone to call out using the calling card and there... more

Great Hotel in a wonderful colonial town. Walked in without a reservation and they could not have been more gracious. The rooms are large and clean. The service is among the best anywhere. We've stayed in Campeche as a base when touring the Yucatan by aircraft a number of times. The town is as interesting as any in the area... more

We stayed at this place for a couple of nights during our honeymoon. We wanted to stay at one of the Haciendas but they were full, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, it was a good experience, but I’m not sure I would stay here again… I would probably try to stay at the Haciendas. The good:... more

We stayed in the new building in the old town which has everything you need. Didn't bother with the main part of the hotel - there's a very average restaurant there - and older rooms. There's secure parking which is handy and a nice small pool. Main thing is the rooms are big and very clean - nice bathrooms too.... more

We found the hotel thru this site looking for a hotel in the historic district. This fit the bill. The hotel was WONDERFUL -- the rooms large and clean, the service was impecible and the food was wonderful. Our only problem was noise from the disco on Friday night. The hotel willing to changed our room the next day. Don't... more

We chose to stay at this place because it had good reviews and looked like a safe, clean, place with a safe box in the room. I put my wallet with about $100 USD and a 60GB Ipod in the safe box and we accidentally left our stuff inside the box (locked) when we checked out. When we realized that... more
