They promised us adjoining rooms (confirmed in writing). The rooms were not close to each other. We arrived at night and could not go anywhere else. They promised to correct it. We stayed 4 nights but they never corrected it. We later found out that they were available, but would not give them to us. We paid extra for SEAVIEW... more

We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child (age 2) who visited Veracruz on route to the Yucatan from Mexico City. We chose this hotel as it was convenientley located for the Aquarium and local restaurants. When we arrived the staff were unhelpful when there was a problem with our reservation. I stayed at this hotel in Feb. 2003 and made a secure reservation online 3 months prior for 2 nights. I arrived about 10:00pm and was greeted by a surly staff who would not honor my reservation. After much back and forth they gave me a room for 1 night at double the price. The room was shabby and moldy.... more
