Not only did we get a great price on Expedia, this hotel has the perfect location and is fabulous in every way! The only possible downside is the smoke in the lobby due to Sanborns being there. The service was excellent, the room was spotless and comfortable and the zocalo is ten steps away. We had a room with a... more

I just returned from Vera Cruz and a 9 day stay at the Hotel Vera Cruz (Calinda). It is right in the heart of the historic area of town with lota of nite life and activities. Very pleasant hotel and conveniently located right acroos from the zocalo. SURPRINSIGLY QUIET for being accross all the activity going on at the plaza. I had a room in the sixth floor with a view to zocalo. The swimming pool is now at the second floor and it is a good size.The rooms are adequate and clean.I strongly recommend this... more
