The hotel is located in an almost perfect spot close to the Zocalo in the picturesque town. We were fortunate to be accommodated in the El Studio suite on the top floor of the hotel. The large and comfortable room has its own outside entrance and a private balcony. The furnishings provide a slightly rustic, very Mexican, feel with the... More

We have visited many places Mexico over the past twenty years and Taxco is among a small number of the most beautiful and interesting. There can be no better hotel from which to appreciate this gorgeous place than Mi Casita, a historic building conveniently located a block from the zocolo. We had the good fortune to stay in El Studio... More

We spent only one day in Taxco and were unable to book a room as there was a down hill bicycle race that had all Hotels full. So why write a review ? Because we live our life in Hotel,s and know a good one when we visit . So Taxco is a destination of charm , the Hotel compliments... More

The proprietor Lucy, made us feel like family. The staff was courteous and you could tell they were happy with their jobs. Very clean throughout and room includes a breakfast of coffee and a croissant, fresh baked with jam in the dining area. Our room was the "El Studio" and was spacious with two sleeping areas, a private bath with... More

The staff at Mi Casita is very friendly and the location is perfect, as it is right next to the zocalo. I recommend this hotel (as well as Taxco in general) to all my friends who want to be immersed in Mexican culture!!

Mi Casita is only 1/2 block from the Zocolo. Each room has a name. El Studio is incredible - private entrance from the street; large main room with an entertainment area; massive, wide doors opening onto your own private balcony overlooking the Templo do Santa Prisca; bathroom adorned in Calavera tile; two separate rooms, one with a king size bed... Staying in Puerto Vallarta, we flew to Mexico City to join our tour guide Luis. We and three other couples went on tour. Tax on, Guerrero was one of our favourite stops and we stayed over night at the Hotel Mi Casita. Centrally located to everything, we all enjoyed this hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. As we were only staying one... More

I was there two years ago, unfortunately only for two days, one night. On my way to Acapulco. I was fascinating by the view, from the terrace. Free breakfast for three persons sitting at the terrace. The decor was stunning, First class, Mexican style. Every piece of furniture was beautiful wood. I have travelled all around the world, and this... More

It is a tiny hotel just a block away from Zocalo. Do not expect an international hotel. It feels like you are a guest at a friend's house. Small bedrooms, with a terrace and amazing views of the city. One large living room where breakfast is served in the morning and where the few guest check their email. Wifi works... More

We really like this place! It is small and very attractive. The rooms are comfortable and all open to outside corridors with wonderful views. We would sit outside with our friends at night, share a bottle of wine, and watch the lights of the city come on. Breakfast is minimal (bread, juice, coffee), but very good and nicely served in...
