The only good thing about this hotel is the view of Taxco from your room. Everything else is a shame.Maybe twenty years ago it was a nice hotel but now it is so rundown like nothing has been done it to it for ages. Considering the price I paid I felt cheated. more

What a rip-off and total scam at La Posada de La Mision in Taxco. Be careful - lots of hiddens charges and costs. While there are negatives, the architecture gives this place tons of charm and the view from our room was truly unforgettable. Well worth putting up with a few inconveniences. We visited the Posada de la Mission hotel in March 2005 and we were very, very disappointed. We stayed with the whole family in 4 rooms, only for one night and were glad to go. Posada is a magical hotel with lots of charm and spectacular views. Rooms are very simple -- far from luxurious -- but if you have the view of the city, you are in the right place. The city is pure magic. more
