Stayed here on tour. Great location, 10 minute walk to the city centre through cobblestone streets lined with shops. Amazing views, especially at night. Room was average but what can you expect in a town like this. So authentic so I enjoyed it. We were told scary stories so my sleep wasn't too great anyway! Breakfast was great but more... More

Had a room with a balcony to enjoy the view of the town spreading up the mountainside - this alone is worth a stay at this hotel. Everything else at the hotel is fine if not outstanding - food, service, location etc.

Very expensive Hotel. Rooms get a great view , but had cucarachas in the closets . Restaurant is very expensive for plain food. We wanted some peace , but we got several buses of package tourists making a load noise.

This Hotel is built on top of an old silver mine, and you can take the tour under the hotel to see the old, originally Indian, mine workings. The rooms in the main hotel are fine, but we stayed in the pet-friendly annex which is the other side of the theatre/conference saloon. This was very rustic ( doors and windows... More

If you prefer "Old Good Times" this posada is for you. The general lay-out is very "old-fashioned" and nice even for your most critical eyes. Enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the stories the things are telling you. Enjoy the sunset and the sunrise of the opposite town. The location of Posada de la Mision is best possible in town.

Excellent hotel. Our room was amazing - the views were stunning and it was wonderful seeing the whole city lit up at night. A lovely large balcony with large beds, the room was very spacious. Dinner was lovely and i loved that they has music by the pool in the evening.

Went to Taxco with parents to celebrate my Mother´s birthday. Had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was very attentive even though limited conversations in English. We had a room on the 2nd floor and my Mum has a problem in climbing stairs (no elevators in the hotel) so the bell boy who was escorting us to our... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in August. This place is obviously an old monastery/convent that has been converted into a hotel. It sits just outside the main part of Taxco but is walking distance (about 10 minutes) to the cathedral and square. There is Wi-Fi in the lobby but not in the rooms. There are some drawbacks... Excellent hotel with the spirit. Amazingly located with beautifull view on the hills of Taxco. Beautiful swimming pool area. Kitchen so, so. It is better to eat outside. Breakfast quite poor. But Location and place itself, arranged in the buildings ofold convent makes you stay there worth the money you spend on it.

Great hotel with great food. The beds were very confortable and the view from the terrace (which was enormous) had no comparison. Everything was fine. You should order a "mole de rosa" with a "bugambilia Boom" in the restaurant, also a Mezcal de Pechuga made in the house.
