This was my third stay in this charming, simple old fashioned hotel. I organize Art/craft/beading trips around Mexico...This hotel has a lovely patio to have a meeting and do our Show and tell.. The staff is very helpful..The location is superb.... I am already looking forward to my next trip to Taxco and staying at Santa Prisca again..

We were greeted warmly after parking in the secure private parking down below. Our room was number 18 and the view was amazing. The location is centrally located but the location of our room was far away from the main street so very quiet. There was filtered water available as well, and breakfast in the restaurant was basic and delicious.... More

The hotel is conveniently located closed to the Zocalo. You can walk to most of the town attractions. The standard room is clean, quiet and big enough for a couple. Not fancy but perfect for spending the night. It does not have wifi in the rooms.

This hotel has everything you need and nothing you don't, especially if you plan to be out sightseeing most of the day. The location was great for walking everywhere, the courtyard was decorated with a lot of nice plants, the rooms were clean and tasteful, everything in the bathroom was functional including the hot water in the shower, and there... This is perfect place for those that want to be close to the action, but away from the noise. It is just around the corner from the Zocalo (downtown). The rooms are nothing to remember; just small and clean. Very economical - perfect for those that need a clean place to sleep and shower. The staff is very friendly, and... More

What a pleasure to write about a place you really enjoyed. This hotel is everything you could need. Really well located. A 5 minutes walk to the Zocalo. But this walk is full of boutiques, restaurants, museums even a serpentarium (I will review it, it is great). The hotel itself is composed of rooms (oh really?) a central plaza full... More

This hotel looks great, just like Taxco itself. Very nice location, close to the main square. Hotel itself has nice, but basic rooms. Inside the hotel a nice "courd yard" with lot's of plants en some tables and beds. It looks great.Staff is friendly. So I would stay here again for sure.

Nice cozy hotel in a perfect location if you want to enjoy Taxco. The central patio is quiet, perfect for laying down in the afternoon. Most of the rooms are quiet, except for the ones with the windows to the plaza. Just say at the reception you want a quiet one. The rooms are very cozy, although the matresses we... More

We stayed here 26 years ago and decided to go back for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so surprised that it was still open and pretty much the same. The hotel and rooms are spotless. Tons of hot water. Bathroom sinks have two faucets but who cares. Views off the back of the hotel are nice and when we... More
