This is perfect place for those that want to be close to the action, but away from the noise. It is just around the corner from the Zocalo (downtown). The rooms are nothing to remember; just small and clean. Very economical - perfect for those that need a clean place to sleep and shower. The staff is very friendly, and... More

What a pleasure to write about a place you really enjoyed. This hotel is everything you could need. Really well located. A 5 minutes walk to the Zocalo. But this walk is full of boutiques, restaurants, museums even a serpentarium (I will review it, it is great). The hotel itself is composed of rooms (oh really?) a central plaza full... More

This hotel looks great, just like Taxco itself. Very nice location, close to the main square. Hotel itself has nice, but basic rooms. Inside the hotel a nice "courd yard" with lot's of plants en some tables and beds. It looks great.Staff is friendly. So I would stay here again for sure.

Nice cozy hotel in a perfect location if you want to enjoy Taxco. The central patio is quiet, perfect for laying down in the afternoon. Most of the rooms are quiet, except for the ones with the windows to the plaza. Just say at the reception you want a quiet one. The rooms are very cozy, although the matresses we... More

We stayed here 26 years ago and decided to go back for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so surprised that it was still open and pretty much the same. The hotel and rooms are spotless. Tons of hot water. Bathroom sinks have two faucets but who cares. Views off the back of the hotel are nice and when we... More

Spent a weekend here in October. Great location, right in the heart of this beautiful old town, but the hotel is very quiet, clean but basic We didn’t hear anything from the disco mentioned by an earlier traveller !! Staff’s English is about the same as our Spanish but we were able to communicate and we were grateful for their... More

This very pleasant “auberge” is well situated in central Taxco .The rooms are not luxurious but quaint and spotlessly ,clean .The staff is very friendly and works hard to satisfy guests. There are two problems ,neither of which is the hotel’s fault: 1 . A nearby disco probably has powerful political connections because none of the nearby hotels has succeeded... More

Enjoyed a pleasant 4-night stay in the Hotel Santa Prisca. Room was basic but charming, spotless, and equipped with functional plumbing. Central courtyard provided a lovely place to lounge. Breakfasts in the restaurant were good. Hotel is centrally located but blessedly quiet. It seems very well-managed and well-maintained. Staff were all gracious and helpful.

Ideal location within 200 yards of Zocalo. Quaint hotel in a very quaint city. Hotel is old and basic, but well maintained and spotless. Staff are excellent and most speak good English. Great value for money.
