We organized a small workshop in this hotel and had also some spare time to spend in Taxco and its surroundings. I liked very my spacious and clean room with a breathtaking view on the city. The restaurant served delicious local dishes (try the Pozole) and the breakfast is more than copious. Unfortunately the service at the reception has room for... More

We spend December 24 there, the view was magnificent, nice rooms, good service. Breakfast buffet delicious ! Easy to go to town, people very friendly. I really recommend this hotel to go as a honey moon or whit family. The wifi in the rooms do not work.

The location is amazing, great view on the city and surrounding mountains. The rooms are nice, suite is very complete, normal rooms are missing some things like a mini bar. None of the rooms had a safe, although the cleaners didn't even take the tip we left at the pillow. There are no English channels on the TVs. The bad... More

This hotel is beautifully located on top of the hill overlooking Taxco with great views, activities such as a bonfire with traditional live music, amenities including golf, tennis, spa and pool and food, with a fantastic breakfast. Really makes an amazing stay and visit to Taxco, good comfortable rooms, but make sure you pay the extra for the city views.... More

The hotel has an excellent and beautiful view of Taxco. Keep in mind it's not in the center of Taxco but a bit before and on top of the mountain. So unless you enjoy walking a lot you will need to grab a taxi to go to the center of town. Service is excellent! The staff is extremely helpful and... More

This hotel sits atop a mountain, the whole town of Taxco, in fact, is a top a mountain. Beneth the mountain lie the old silver mines from back in the day. Theres a cableway that takes you to and from the hotel and into town. The cablecar costs about 2 dolars per ride. The hotel has an astonishing view of... More

This place is incredible. I was looking for a nice place to stay in Monte Taxco and wanted something with a view. This place has the most incredible view I have ever seen. The elevator is glass so that you can admire it longer. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is delicious. Even more, the night club is fun and... More

We have been in Taxco several times staying in different hotels but definitely this hotel allows you to see this wonderful city from a different and amazing angle. The hotel enjoys a privileged location. The building and its decoration is great and service is relatively good. As almost in all of Mexico, food is unique and exquisite.

We stayed for one night, the room was excellent with a nice view, the food was really good and the service was great. The views from the restaurant and the pool were just the perfect views, I would come back just to stay there and have the view. Taxco is a magic small town and we love the place.

First off, the room I've stayed in at Montetaxco was by far the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in and with an absolutely amazing view of Taxco. CONs: as other people have said it before, the rooms sport incredibly thin walls and the entrance/balcony doors are both in need of a hinge repair, because they both fail to shut... More
