We did reservation via Booking.com, and unfortunately it was half more expensive what we found on reception desk on our arrival. Hotel has 40 years, but elevators, restaurant, all installations looks as never were refurnished. Definitely it was great place for something like this 40 and 30 years ago, but not now, and for services which we expect for rate... More

talking about MONTETAXCO one has to first mention the beautiful view that is difficult to match. The prices are reasonable for the offerred. The pool is big and agreable. The gymnasium and tenis are in a sad state that could be improved with little investment. The italian restaurant in the hotel is better tan the main one. Rosa on the reception... More

Be aware of the entrance to the hotel, it is a little tricky, like climbing a mountain!!.... The Gym is outdate and semi useless!! Please fix it!!! The swimming pool is too small!! The view of Taxco is amazing!! The rooms are clean, the service is nice but some times you need to push the personal. The food is not... More

I have been to Mexico several times and have always enjoyed side trips to Taxco. On this particular trip, a girl friend and I stayed a few nights in the city. For the first 3 nights, we stayed in an inexpensive hotel near the Zocalo. Super convenient, safe but bare bones. For our final night in the city, we decided... More

We visited monte taxco during the mexican independence holiday (september 15th) the hotel have a lot of different activities and the personnel attention is excellent! The best way to move to the downtown or any other place in Taxco is in a taxi

Excellent option to stay at Taxco. Personnel very friendly and kindly. Rooms very clean and well located to have a wonderful view of the city, quiet and nice decoration enhancing local handcrafts. Small balcony to spend nights looking stars and city lights. There is a cable way to go and back from hotel to the city (around $8 USD round... More

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and which had great service. We had an incredible view of taxco from our hotel room. This is not a high end Mexican hotel, but a great value and probably one of the best hotels in taxco. We especially like the Mexican breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant in which everything was... More

We stayed in Montetaxco as one of the most common and well known hotel in this town. The hotel looks old but in a good condition. The view is marvelous but I think the price is a little up for the hotel (Paid around $200 US per night). The rooms are ok and the food is barely average. The buffet... More
