the room was nice and warm, but noisy. the shower was very close to the toilet, meaning everything got wet. I was not allowed to leave my bag after 5pm, meaning i had to PAY to store it somewhere else - very inconvenient.

We didn't have excessively high expectations for Le Gite del Sol, since their nightly rate is pretty cheap, so we were pleasantly surprised. Although, as other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are very basic, they are more than sufficient if you don't expect anything lavish. They have decent beds, a table, plug sockets... What else do you really need? Breakfast... More

We arrived early in the morning after night bus from Oaxaca and got a welcoming reception. We got to book our shuttle to Guatemala straight away as planned and everything at excellent prices, less than 20 dollars. The room is just a bed and table but with lights, plug and space to hang clothes. There are 2 sinks outside, 2... More

(You can hear everything from steet and place) The breakfast it's pretty good given the price or the room We tried to use the kitchen (as promised) to save money. There's the... More

The owner, his wife and mother in law are the friendliest people you can find! The rooms are cosy, clean and cool at night because of the thick walls, which assures you of a good night of sleep. A breakfast menu with several options is included. This is one of the best value-for-money hostels in Mexico so far! Also, tours... More

Simple rooms with shared bathrooms. You get what you pay for here. The rooms are some of the best priced in San Cristobal as they come with a great breakfast. But they are very basic (bed, desk, chair and 2 spare blankets). Both areas have kitchens and computers. Bathrooms need a update as they are pretty worn and rooms need... More

This place is just perfect for what it is. It has a nice private courtyard where you can relax, eat your breakfast (nice breakfast btw) and fix some trips with the staff. The room we stayed could fit 4 but we got it as a double. The rooftop terrace is a nice thing too. I liked the location, not directly... More

This is a great place to stay while in San Christobal. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the included breakfast is an added bonus. The coffee is outstanding also. The place is close to everything, shops, restaurants and things to see... The wifi is also top notch here. Do go in confidence if you're looking to... More
