Great reviews, all fit. Except the hotel chose to rent apartments to a group of young college types who are drinking, shouting and laughing away on the terrace...as of now it is 12:30 a.m. So pick any nice unit and listen to 3 or 4 college boys drink and brag to 3 or 4 giggling and shouting college girls. With... More

It t is a quaint and peaceful property. The staff went out of their way for us - one even went to the market for me and got me the item I wanted (on his day off!). The food was delicious, though I think breakfast could have more choices. We had the dinner tasting menu and the chef was very... More

We stayed for six nights with family and friends occupying two of the Master Suite Villas, 7 & 8. A quaint little property, in the town proper, with a fabulous restaurant, within a 10 minute walk of the main square. Decorated in the local style the villas felt very homey and fun. I can't say enough about the staff. They... More

The staff are most helpful, we were thrilled to find a kitchen, small living room with fireplace stocked with wood, a cosy bedroom (small bed though), lovely bathroom and a small balcony overlooking the garden.. Only a few minutes to the main pedestrian street down steep streets. The room was cleaned immaculately every day. I really felt the hotel could... More

The hotel is a bit pricey but is worth every penny. When we just went the weather was cold snd the receptionist helped us light the fireplace every night. The room, hotel, courtyard and restaurant areas are all super cozy and romantic. The breakfast in the morning is excellent and the service great. The attention to detail is fantastic and... More

Excellent hotel. Attention to detail, great service, clean, good breakfasts. We had a slight problem with the wifi connection but it was eventually solved during our stay. It is a few blocks from the centre. Helpful staff. Great option overall.

It’s not often that the mattress is so bad that it is impossible to sleep – but this was one of these times, it was an atrocious, hard, uncomfortable mattress of the type that you might get in a cheap lodging house not in a relatively expensive hotel. So for that reason alone this fails the quality test. Otherwise Casa... More

It feels bad to say negative things about this place because the staff is one of the nicest and well meaning we ever met in a hotel. So will start with the worst so can end with the best. The main problem is the cocks next door. If you need to wake up before 6:30am its fine, but otherwise be... More

During the past couple of years, when my journalism work has brought me to San Cristobal, I've stayed in Casa Villas Morada and have always had a five star, excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and extremely professional. They go out of their way to make sure that I and my colleagues are comfortable and happy. They have an... More
