We stayed at Casa Morada's economical units just a few blocks away from the hotel/villas. It was an amazing value.. two bedrooms, kitchen, nice porch on second floor, clean and just a great spot to explore the city. We stayed for 2 weeks and made it our home. It's just down the street from the Da Bloom museum and about... More

What beautiful rooms here in Casa Morada. You can see the mis in Swiss and local style from the owner and his wife merging. We stayed in the beautiful mural calm room number 10 with pretty rooftop views and elegant local bed quilt. Great in the summer too with a picturesque courtyard walled garden. The location is easy walking distance... More

This was our second stay in San Cristóbal this trip. Previously we had stayed at Bela's B&B, but thee was no room time. The two places are both excellent but also quite different. They are both good examples of what they should be. The pluses for Casa Morada were a kitchen with table and chairs in the room in addition... More

Villas Casa Morada is in a great location in San Cristobal, not too close to all the action but far enough to have a quiet rest, enjoy the beautiful rooms with a fireplace, and the garden with a hammock, table and chairs. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the hotel is small enough that it feels more like a... More

We spent 2 weeks at Casa Morada in a Junior Suite which includes a separate kitchen-dining-living room. Part of that time we also rented another suite for visiting family members. Part of our stay was during "high season". Our rooms were quiet, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The location is about one km from the zocolo;... More

I stayed in a studio for 3 nights - from 8/12/12 to 11/12/12 and was given a double bed, ok with me since I was a sole traveller. This may be an issue if you were a couple though. The room had more than enough space for my needs containing a separate lounge, kitchen (complete with fridge, cooker and implements),... More

It's not always easy to sit down after having stayed at a place and write a review about the hotel. So this review is a great, detailed and honest contribution to other travelers about the experience at Villas Casa Morada and we would like to thank you for your time. We arrived to Villas Casa Morada late at night, after 14 hours of traveling, only to find that I made the wrong reservation and we couldn't get in until the following night. The staff were amazing! This was my mistake, but they still called and arranged for us to stay in another hotel, and even carried my suitcase on the... More

Accommodating staff, excellent restaurant, fantastic room and beautiful decorating all combine to make this a place worth visiting. I stayed in room #6 which was nearly an apartment. With a kitchen, dining room, living room and two upstairs bedrooms there was plenty of room for two people to spread out comfortably.

We came to San Cristobal to study Spanish at the local schools. Our stay at Casa Morada was a pleasantly wonderful surprise. The Villa was clean and comfortable, the staff was attentive and eager, the food was great. We loved our little home after a busy day of learning, shopping, and adventuring. No complaints.
