Arrived late and left early maybe that is why the hotel's charm did not rub on me. The room was basic but clean, bathroom tiny. The owners were in & out in the morning but helpful in getting a taxi. This property is indeed a great value in San Cristobal. The owners, an Italian couple, are charming and always available to help you in any matter. The hotel looks nice and it is well-decorated. However, it is the dirtiest hotel we stayed in Mexico (and we paid more or less the same in the other hotels). The liners had several big holes and black spots. Also the bathroom was dirty. In general, I think you can find much cleaner places to stay in San Cristobal. more
