I stayed for 2 nights while touring Mexico and Central America. Good location only one block from the main square of this fascinating colonial town, the hotel provides adequate but basic accommodation with en-suite bathrooms - note that there is no in-room safe. Service is OK but not particularly friendly and understanding of English is somewhat limited. Breakfasts are cooked... More

This was a great hotel to stay in. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights, it's 1 block away from the main square and close to everything. The room was very comfortable though the bed a little bit small. We paid 900 pesos per night, there was a television in our room with cable TV for when we were... More

very nice hotel in an old colonial house. Convenient position close to the zocalo. Nice rooms, no safe available. It was nice to find the hotel warm when outside was unusually cold. Nice town a lot of nice places with music. Would love to come back.

No heating available, and S. Cristobal can get very cold at night. I checked out after freezing one night and went to a nicer hotel for the same price that had good DeLonghi space heaters. Rooms are unexceptional. I expected nicer as this is part of the Tesoros chain of boutique hotels, but unlike the fabulous one in Cuernavaca I... More

My husband and I spent 4 days in the hotel. We recieved the "honeymoon suit" that had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. There was a bad odor of the mold in the entier room. When we reported on the issue to the reception they didnt really seem to care and didnt even come to check the problem with... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November. The public rooms and bedrooms are beautifully appointed and decorated - but as there is no central heating we had to ask for an electric heater as our room was freezing cold. Staff very friendly and helpful but the breakfasts were a little disappointing. Perfect location for all the city... More

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! One block parallel from Calle real de Guadalupe (main walking only street) and 30 seconds from the plaza and Calle insurgentes. The rooms were nice enough but there is no heating and street level rooms produce a lot of noise during the night. As well the wifi is really only present in the... More

Perfectly located Hotel in Charming Town. This was one of our favourite parts of the tour we did (better than Guatemala so spend more time here !). Initially the Staff were a bit stand-offish - probably because we spoke no Spanish so they gave us a wide berth but, once we discovered how good their Cocktails were... (the Mojitos here... More

This hotel was really good. We ended up staying in a "suite", which was like a one bedroom apartment. On booking.com there were no other rooms available which seemed a bit strange and the room was like a one bedroom apartment. There was no air conditioning but probably didn't need it, although leaving the window open made it quite noisy.... More

We spent a week at this interesting hotel. Womens art was hung everywhere and the staff were warm and friendly. Why don't hotels in this city heat the place? No matter, we kept warm and enjoyed the city which was at our door step. The dining room was spectacular and the food was wonderful. A delightful small hotel with personal... More
