This was a last minute reservation, and it worked fine. It is walking distance from everything and has parking (which we needed). We called the room "the dungeon" because they are very dark... But other than that nothing negative to say, the service is good. We only had breakfast there but wasn´t the best.

My mother told me once: "If you don't have anything good to say, better say nothing". But there is one good thing about the hotel and that is the location. You can reach the places of interest very easy in less than 5 minutes without any transportation. The rooms are very dark, the ceiling is covered with wood which smells... More

We were in San Cristobal for a few days. The city was ridiculously packed. There were very few hotels with rooms. We came across this place after leaving a hotel which we had a bad experience with. This place is phenomenal! It has colonial style arquitecture and just an overwhelming warm feeling to it with all the wood. The morning... More

Hotel is nice, location is perfect but they could do much more. Rooms are very dark with no lights coming in, staff is not very flexible, not recommended the restaurant. Overall clean, well furnished and good enough for few days in san cristobal.

Nothing special, rooms are clean and spacious with simple decorations, and location is optimal for visiting the city. The breakfast is disappointing as it is advertised as American but all that is served are fried eggs, fruit salad (watermelon, papaya, yellow melon), cornflakes, yogurt (sweetened only), toasted bread, industrial marmalade and coffee....could be improved!

Got a Jr suite with a fireplace and glad we did. There is no free breakfast, the icon on trip advisor is wrong. King bed was soft and comfy. Room was on 3rd floor and had a mountain view which is hard to find near the zocalo. Walking distance to outdoor markets, night life, museums, and churches. Overall, happy with... More

This hotel (or two hotels?) is very well located very close to the main Plaza in San Cristobal and also very close to the three strolling streets in the town. The main building has the restaurant and bar which makes this a 4 star hotel. However, we stayed in the Annex which is only the front-desk and the rooms which... More

The Hotel is beautiful, designed as old Mexican ranch The location is very close to the main square of San Cristobal withing walking distance to all main attractions But the noise from neighboring rooms and patio and upper rooms avoided me from sleeping It seems there is no sound barrier between rooms Also there is no free service meal and... I stayed in this hotel one night and it had all I needed. Very close to all attractions and 5 min walk to the bus station, spacious comfortable quiet rooms with hot water and free Wi fi, and helpful staff who let me leave my rucksack when I arrived in the morning, plenty of food and coffee places around. It... More

My wife and I spent three days in this typical, clean and friendly hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good with Chiapas specialties included. Bathroom recently remodeled, clean and complete. Our only complaint is the room floor, very cold and uneven. Location is perfect for strolling in the two nice "andadores", very close to the Zocalo and the... More
