We stayed at Felipe Flores on a trip through Chiapas recently and wanted to stay there forever ;-) The house is in an terrific location...close enough to walk anywhere but on an off street that does not get the noise! The entire place is decorated beautifully and incredibly clean. The staff is there to service your every need from restaurant... More

I would give Casa Felipe Flores 6 stars if I could! It is as beautiful and well-situated as other reviewers state, but it was the kindness of the owners, David and Nancy, and the manager, Marco, that rate my rave review. I arrived late on a Saturday afternoon after a 6-hour bus trip and limping badly on an injured knee.... More

This B&B was as delightful, as so many have already reported. The locations is great, the ambiance and decor are wonderful, the staff is friendly, etc. However, I have two suggestions for future visitors. If possible, try not to visit San Cristobal in really cold weather. First, you can't sit outside and enjoy the hotel's lovely, flower-filled courtyards, and second,... More

We spent two weeks at this wonderful bed and breakfast while attending spanish language school in San Cristobal. The beautiful colonial home, which is located near the main walking street, has been decorated with fabulous art, antiques and indigenous crafts. Our room was lovely and had a fireplace, large bathroom and a king size bed with a heated mattress pad... More

A beautiful colonial house decorated with a mixture of colonial and modern Mexican art. The bedrooms, all with fireplaces, open up onto flowered courtyards. The bedrooms are designed in a colonial style. More like a small hotel than a B&B in that Casa Felipe Flores is very professionally run with knowledgeable staff that can arrange local tours, transport and ongoing... More

We stayed at the Casa Felipe Flores for 5 nights in November 2013. The hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, which went very smoothly. They also arranged for a driver to take us back to the airport at 5:00 a.m. and it also went smoothly. The hotel is beautifully decorated, but is also very... More

What a find this was! Nancy and David could not have been more helpful. The decor was a dream come true for me. If I could've stuffed my suitcase....exquisite taste. Breakfast was yummy and the people who work there are helpful and seem to love being there. Great location. Cozy, warm, welcoming and charming. Couldn't ask for anything more! Book it... More

A friend gave this lovely boutique hotel her top recommendation and I'm very glad that I was able to stay here during a recent trip to San Cristobal. The location is terrific, in the heart of the centro historico just a couple of blocks from one of the pedestrian streets that takes you to the zocalo. The rooms are very... More

My sister and I both hate to plan vacations. We are so lucky she found this B&B. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was delicious (try huevos rancheros). The staff was so nice, particularly the manager, Mario Ortega, who helped us figure out what to do while we were in San Cristobal. We had an amazing time and loved... More

Casa Felipe Flores is set in a tranquil garden in the heart of beautiful San Cristobal. Mario was a supremely helpful host, particularly given our difficulties communicating from New Zealand!! He arranged it all - a car from Tuxtla, taking the great mountain scenery, introductions to local restaurants, and a day tour to the local Indios villages to view their... More
