hotel is beautiful with many antiques . Room 17 has a rotting floor with holes in the line tile. It was 54 degrees and we couldn't use the fireplace and there is no way to heat the room. This was August 8th 2014. The wifi signal is very weak and cannot use iPad except close to the reception. The television... More

Truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel. The rooms and surroundings really makes one feel like they are staying in a classic mexican hacienda. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed not lacking in anything. Very quiet and clean. The gardens and landscape are wonderful with many tasteful historical artifacts placed... More

Yes it is outside of the centre (but we had our own car) and yes the bathroom is a bit weird, but there is hot water and it is clean, but the most important is the atmosphere, youfeel like you landed in some western movie decor. Plus it has clear signs to it from the main roads.

We had our credit card overcharged by this establishment. I would be very careful about providing credit card details to them. The location is poor. I reccomend staying in the center of town. That said, the beds are very comfortable.

When we arrived to the hotel we where impressed from the hotel romantic look and the beautiful rooms which were very well decorated but we had several issues that made our stay unpleasant : 1. The room was not very clean. There were hair balls on the floor and the shower place looked quite dirty. 2. When we arrived to... More

After reading the TA reviews I booked this hotel as I really like the idea of coming back to cozy dinner in front of the fireplace after a day out touring. However the restaurant was closed due to remodelling so there was no possibility to get any kind of food or drink service at the hotel. The hotel is located... More

We stayed two nights at this hacienda. It is beautiful. The owner gave us recommendations on how to take advantage of our days.. he helped us build our itinerary and we had an amazing experience during our day trips. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from downtown San Cristobal, but you can take a taxi ride for 2 dollars.... More

What a hidden gem. This old ranch will blow your mind if you are into old fashion western gear and dark wood interior. Nice garden and fireplace as well.. The hacienda is a bit far from the zocalo, but nothing that a 2 buck taxi ride cannot manage. Historic gem in S.C.D.C...

We stayed in San Cristobal in the beginning of August with my Mom, Husband and two kids. We had two rooms viewing the garden, which was very quiet and comfortable. The working fireplaces are definitely a plus, specially with small children. They had a blast roasting marshmallows and cooking potatoes in the fireplace. The staff is very friendly and helpful.... Very nice hotel, the service was great, the decoration was very Mexican - All the staff are very nice people and give very good tips on the best places around San Cristobal. The restaurant is also really good with lots of choices. It is located about 10 minutes by car from the downtown, but the taxi ride is only 25... More
