I stayed in a four bed room. If you have the opportunity get the bed above the stairs, it's like your own little private room just without a door. Lockers are huge, wifi works great, the location is really good. They do bonfires every night (except when it rains obviously) and you can book all your tours and transfer to... More

Great little backpackers hostel. Close to the central area of San Cristobal, the hostel has both private rooms and dorms, a couple of communal areas and a kitchen. Staff are helpful and speak English. Great Wi-Fi in the rooms, decent breakfast. The private rooms are spacious with double beds, and decent shower

Rossco is the best! We've been to San Cristobal two times now and both of those times we chose to stay at Rossco Backpackers. The staff are awesome - all are friendly, most speak English and all are very helpful. The double rooms are bright and spacious and have a private bathroom. We peeked into the dorms and they looked... More

We've stayed at Rosscos 2 times now and highly recommend it. The double rooms are spacious, bright and have nice bathrooms. We peeked into the dorm rooms too, which looked nice. They have so many offers here as well - stay 1 night free if traveling by motorbike and more. There's a communal kitchen for cooking, a bonfire in the... More

Loved Rossco's! In a great location close to town and walk-able from bus station. Place has a great vibe, with a fire lit every night to hang out at. Extremely clean and breakfast daily. We stayed in the 4 room dorm, and the 10 room (a bit squashed but still good). Organised transfers and tours through the front desk too.

Due to illness we stayed a lot longer than planned and in four different rooms/dorms. Staff are friendly and keep place spotless. Good breakfast, hot showers, lots of blankets, hammocks, cinema room, cute dogs roaming about, pool table, tours, fire pit, close to the centre, crazy fast internet... Pretty perfect and great place to socialise and meet people. The private... More

We arrived at this hostel from Palenque in the evening. The hostel is located relatively close to most things in San Cristobal and offer tours to canyons, lakes, ruins, waterfalls and Guatemala. Every evening there's a small fire around the communal area which is a great place to meet people and warm up. The movie room upstairs has beanbags, hammocks... More

Super clean, really good free breakfast, great amenities; kitchen, cinema room, computer, plenty of bathrooms with warm showers, and a lovely vibe that attracts beautiful people. I think all travelers would enjoy staying here. Best night sleep.

My wife and I stayed here in January 2015 for a few nights. The hostel seems to cater to backpackers and anything on 2 wheels, in fact you get a free night (dorm) or discount (on private room) if you're on a bike or motorcycle. The hostel itself is located about a 10 min walk from the main plaza although... More

excellent location, lovely cabin-like private rooms, nice atmosphere, bonfires, nice staff, tour arrangement, beautiful common areas with garden, kitchen and movie room. the only thing would keep me from coming back is that they own a Rottweiler who they say is not aggressive but barks at people and acts like its going to skip the fence keeping him away from...
