I wanted to try this one at first and that is because I found out it was recommended in my traveler book by Fodor’s. Well, the first impression I got is bad. As soon as I got in, I greeted good morning and neither the girl not the man answered. The man stared at me like I was an intruder... More

Nice hotel, nice people, great service. Very close from downtown and stores and museums. Price was he best. Has Cable tv, Wi fi, parking lot, hot water 24 hrs. A lot of little amenities for personnel care around the rooms. Thanks for everything. K

clean room, good location. there was a lot of echo so you could hear everything going on outside. it is right next to a church, a lot of church bells and fireworks all night long (i believe that is a very typical thing of san cristobal.) they did NOT accept credit/debit card even though it is a chain hotel. the... No bilingual staff? What's that all about? Also, I speak nearly fluent spanish and I couldn't believe how every time I needed something from the front desk manager, this middle-aged woman pretended not to understand me.... Yet everyone else could understand perfectly. Oh well. This woman also kept being condescending with the guests and her staff. The worst was when... More

We took a family excursion ( about 32 people) to Chiapas and decided to stay 2 nights in San Cristobal. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The room was always clean and everything was well maintained. The hotel does't have a pool which was a bummer for the kids, but otherwise no big deal since San Cristobal... More

5 minutes walking distance of main city's attraction; main plaza, Cathedral, street market. located in beautiful streets and restaurants. Room is big and clean and comfortable. You can hear door banging sound and people talking inside hotel. Other than little noise, it is good value hotel.

The hotel is very well situated and the price is restively reasonable but that's where it ends. The layout of the hotel is very poor. There are no comfortable seats in the reception area, or in the rooms for that matter. Most of the rooms only have windows onto the inside corridor of the hotel so do not have access... More

Fabulous location. Stayed only one night. I think there are better rooms to be had in this hotel. We were in the room near reception - you could hear everything that was said at reception and they talked until well into the night. Also the room had no windows - probably why it was less expensive. So I suggest you... More

The hotel closes at night, so you can hear the doorbell ringing and the others guests, laughs, footsteps, etc There is nothing special in this hotel, good for bussiness but I don't recommend it for family, friends or couples, because you can hear everything from one room to another; even a quiet chat. One of my colleagues every morning woke... More

I traveled recently with my parents to Chiapas on vacation, including San Cristóbal de las Casas. The trip was fabulous, except for the service at this hotel. First of all, I should say that the location is perfect, right in the historic district, and the rates it offers are very competitive and offer good value. The hotel is also very... More
