San Cristobal De Las Casas is a lovely, magical place. I traveled there for the first time last year, and stayed at this hotel with my husband. The hotel is small and managed by the owners, a very nice and caring family. The hotel is very fairly priced and is situated in an excellent location, very close to the city... More

Are you kidding me! As a TripAdvisor Top Contributor I am appalled at the reviews this property has. I doubled and tripled checked the address to make sure this was the same place. It is... We were in San Cristobal for two days. We came into the hotel and the receptionist was extremely rude when we checked in. We had... More

A good 10 minutes walk from the main square. Great value for your money, though. Staff was very nice, and the place is clean and generally well taken-care-of. Our room had a small problem with the shower, so that the water would leak into the room and make it terribly slippery -- I almost fell twice! Other than that the... More

The location of this hotel is its best feature. Close to the central square. Price is good as well and the hotel is clean and pleasant. We had no hot water, but the Internet worked. Not posh, but it's a decent travelers hotel and the staff are pleasant.

Stayed for 2 weeks beginning New year' s Eve. Staff were friendly and had no problem finding me a quieter room on Jan 2nd after holiday people left. Front rooms are noisier, but that is Mexico! Very clean place. It is a longish walk to artisan market, but justifies eating all the great food and sweets.

My parents, my husband and my 70 years old aunt stayed for 2 nights. They upgrade my aunt's room because her age, to the first floor NO STAIRS, was a nice gesture. Betty the ownwr was a nice and vwry helpful lady. They have free Wifi. Breakfast was not included into rate but was delicious and fair price.Nice location. To... More

After a long bustrip, we arrived at the bustation. We took a taxi direction Rosco Backpackers hostel, which was fully booked. So we drove towards le gite del sol, because we got the adress of this hostel at the busstation. This place was really ugly and dirty, so we were really happy to discover their neighbours. It's a fantastic hotel... More

Having arrived off a longish bus journey I checked out Le Gite del Sol and this place as they are next to each other. This posada offered better quality rooms and an option without breakfast rather than B&B over the road. I had a single room with a double bed and private bathroom. The room and bathroom were small but... More

After riding the bus overnight, I got to San Cristobal around 4:30am. I rang the bell and asked if they had any room avilable for one night. I thought they would make me wait until noon to get in the room, but instead they let me in right away. Their breakfast was simply amazing, the location is just a few... More

We stayed there for three nights, I've been said that it could be rainy and pretty chilly in San Cristobal this period, but I couldn't expect that freezingly cold in the room, outside was actually bearable. Other thing was that only one member of the hotel staff knew English and she was there only the first day, following days we... More
