Cheapest place we have stayed in Mexico yet – 300MXN a night including breakfast...you can’t really go wrong. Planet Hostel is a perfect base for a coupe of days stay in this lovely little town. We had a private room with a bathroom and it was totally fine, it is small and basic but it was clean enough and there... More

I and my husband stayed one week in Planet. Jose, the manager is very nice and attentive. We had a privat room with bathroom. Every they it was cleaned. The hostel has a nice kitchen one can cook. Every morning they serve another type of breakfast. I would go there again. A good experience. It is also central enough that... More

We arrived here later at night after a super long bus ride and were happy to hear that they had nice fresh lemongrass tea and coffee for free in the large well equipped kitchen. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and checked up on us as we were sitting having a bite to see if we needed anything. Did not... More

I was there for two days just after semana santa so not much was going on and the staff seemed to be recovering from the busy holidays. Nevertheless I had a good time there and would recommend to stay with them thus they are reasonably priced and the location is very good.

I just came for a business meeting so I needed one room for the night, I got a free cab offer at the station, the room was ready and clean by the time I arrived even though it was quite early I could have breakfast that day and the next no extra charge. I felt very secure and well treated,... More

Its very close to the markets (crafts and fresh foods). Close to city center and zocalo. Great breakfast (something different every day and you can eat another serving if you ask). Always coffee and tea available. Just make sure that you use the showers in the second floor as they have the best pressure more consistetnly.

It is cheap and dirty. I couldn't sleep all night because people coming drunk and shouting, bagging on the doors and wall. I really had a bad energy from the staff as well as they try to lure with the cab free, don't bother with that low class. I should have left when I came in. I have lost a night... More

Friendly staff, funky looking place, reasonably priced, and an excellent roof terrace with a spectacular view of the mountains. However, I would only advise visiting if you're absolutely sure you want a party hostel environment! There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not everyone's cup of tea.

24h-coffee and water was often out. The coffee tasted like tea as it was daily brewed in the tea pot. Most rooms don´t have natural light and are therefore quite dark and tiny. Bed sheets are used and old. Some rooms lack of hot water while you get to use the shared bathrooms on other floors. Besides it´s a 10-min-walk... More

Stayed here for two nights in the dorms. It was a great place to meet other travelers, full of youthful life, energy and music. The breakfasts were really tasty and the owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. It's just a street away from where all the bars are as well. Great if you're looking for some fun and...
