Posada Jovel is located just a few blocks (10 mins walk) from the main square. The rooms are tastefully furnished, if a bit cramped. The premises are well kept, clean and well-run. My family of five stayed at Posada Jovel for five days this August and we loved it! We stayed on the "nice," more expensive side (where the reception desk is) and got a sweet little room - clean, nice furniture, comfortable beds. The place is clean and has a lovely garden. But the price has gone up very much in comparison to the lonely planet. At the moment it costs 500 pesos a night for a double room. We are a french family and we stayed in Posada Jovel last week. We found this hotel very nice. The staff is pleasant and obliging. Our child here were happy because thera is a pretty garden where they could play. Really we recommanded this place. more
