We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean (and cleaned daily), the staff were friendly and accomodating. The room had a safe, which we valued. The food is great, either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You're a short 2 minute walk from the heart of the town. The whole place was beautiful with a small patio garden... More

El Paraiso is definitely a little "paraiso" very close to San Cristobal main square. The rooms feel very comfortable and clean although a bit small and cramped. There are heaters in winter time, bottled water and clean towels provided with room service. There are safe boxes for valuables in each room. Continental breakfast is also included. The shower took over... More

The hotel itself is very nice, the nicest in town that we discovered when checking out others. The rooms surround a large lobby area with covered and uncovered space. In SC having covered space is paramount when it rains, we spent a lot of time in there waiting for rain to clear. The location is perfect, only a half block... More

I stayed there 2 nights looking for a clean and nice place around 500mex. A real good surprise. Extremely clean, towels changed every day, bed well prepared, bathrooms renewed recently with style. This place is must although this is right that several rooms may not have a window, except the door itself giving access to the patio (little dark). So... More

We stayed here for 6 nights, including the New Year's Day holiday. We arranged the trip with only about 5 weeks to spare and were happy to find a place that could accommodate us. The location has its good and bad points: being close to the plazas at the centre of town brings convenience, but it also brings (at least... More

Beautiful hotel just a few steps away from the Zocalo. Rooms spotlessly clean and neither too small nor too dark or loud. Staff was very attentive and helpful. All in all I had a VERY pleasant stay there! Would go back any time!

Pros: It is in dead centre of the town - central plaza is only few steps away. The rooms were clean and staff very helpful. Cons:If you get a room facing the street then it could be a bit noisy. The restaurant there is much pricier than anywhere else in the city so I would recommend eating out. Otherwise a... More

Nice place in the center of San Cristobal. The building looks historical but has been updated although the bedding and pillows were ancient. Nice restaurant with nice staff. A very nice breakfast is included.

Nice cosy hotel very close to the centre of town. Room was simple but very tastefully decorated and furnished. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the in-house restaurant was very good (but expensive compared to cafes in town). Only downside was that our room was very noisy at night with music being played at excruciatingly high volume somewhere nearby.... More

We stayed at this little cosy hotel for couple of nights and had a fantastic time. The town is very atmospheric so is the hotel. It had lots of personal rustic-modern touches with a lovely colonial courtyard in vibrant turquoise-orange decoration and thoughtful details such as alcoves and modern plant pots. The rooms were equally charm, though slightly small, and... More
