Small and dark rooms, however in san christobal you need a hotel only to sleep and therefore its an excellent option. Clean and friendly staff, you can also book by telefone and doing a small pre-payment. In the winter and spring months warm cloths are highly recomended as the hotel has no heater.. Enjoy!

While I was in San Cristobal, I checked out a number of other hotels ranging in price from MXN400-1000. I came away convinced that Rincon de Cuca is the best value. Great location, very clean, nice staff and functional room (plus working internet) ticked all the boxes. The hotel itself is an former colonial home and has lots of nooks... More

This is one one of the best - or maybe even the best - hotels I stayed at during my 4 1/2 months trip through Central America and Mexico. I chose it after reading the enthusiastic reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is new but built in colonial style. It is very comfy and classy. The rooms... More

A superb hotel. Within walking distance of the main square with bars, shops and restaurants. As soon as you enter you get this great sensation of 'wood' from a cabin. There are clean beautiful tiled floors with a friendly management team......all smiles. The rooms are clean and airy with cable TV. The reception on some channels were not great but you... More

Colonial building converted into a hotel, really nicely renovated with plenty of character. As soon as we entered, the smell was so inviting, rooms spacious and everything clean. This really was a classy hotel and run very well, efficient management. Highly recommend it.

If you are after spotless rooms in a colourful hotel with lots of character , friendly staff, a fast laundry service, a free bottle of water in your room each day in a very quiet but central location then look no further! At this price you won't find any better! Superb!
