Nice place, nice location just in the center, friendly stuff. free wi-fi working not in all rooms, but works on lobby anyway. Beds are comfy and fresh. Hotel has a cozy cafe downstairs. Not modern, but is OK.

Splendidly situated hotel, right in 'the thick of it'. Rooms mainly are built around a courtyard, now roofed, which means no external windows for most. Rooms relatively small compared with most hotels but you are in a prime position. Having explored a few eating places we decided to use the hotel restaurant, which was an excellent choice, and we ate... More

The hotel on the best location you can get in San Cristobal. Located in front of the Plaza, you can walk on the downtown of this little town. 10 minutes walk to the market. 3 minutes away form the main church. Near to a lot restaurants. Actually they have their own restaurant but I dare you to taste the flavors... More

We basically chose this hotel because of its great location, right in the middle of town, right across the zocalo; and it offered a really good deal. I travelled with my mother, my sister and my parents in law. The hotel ambience is perfect, it looks like an old spanish house with a beautiful atrium where the restaurant is located.... More

This is a nice hotel in the historic center of San Cristobal de las Casas. It faces the Zocalo and is across the Zocalo from the cathedral. We had an interior room which was very quiet. Breakfast was good and they had a buffet on Sunday. The service was good and the rooms were clean. I've stayed in several hotels... More

But beware of the noise in the rooms overlooking the central place. We arrived at the hotel without reservation and we were given first a small room at the top floor overlooking the street and the central place. You can't be any more central than this -on the Zocalo. Hotel is probably 3 star standard with price to match. They add taxes to the quoted price so a run of house room is about $78. My room was in the old centrral wing. It was huge with 20 foot beamed ceiling and a very large bathroom with separate... More

Pack your bags and head to Palenque and San Cristobal. Sunny days in the jungle at Palenque- we missed the three days of previous rain . There is great inexpensive food, lodging on the Zocola at Hotel Ciudad Central Historico (make early reservations), and an atmosphere of a Colonial City in San Cristobal.
