This place is generally clean, nice staff and pretty. But>> MAJOR problem is there are NO EMERGENCY EXITS DESPITE FAKE EVACUATION SIGNS! They lock the exit at night and you CANNOT GET OUT without first going to the desk and asking the receptionist to let you out!!! EVEN IF THERE IS A FIRE OR OTHER EMERGENCY!!! I noticed this because... More

Nice and cozy little hotel. Very clean. It is located about three blocks away from downtown which makes it quite but close to stores and cafes. Rooms are spacious (we are a family of four). Breakfast is offered so we were ready to go every morning.

In San Cristobal, for a decent night's sleep, you must not stay too near the central plaza. Parador Margarita was a good value and nicely situated in the Historic Centro with access to all areas of the city, and on a quieter street. We were able to walk to the Mercado and sites. A note about San Cristobal de las... More

This is a great little place to stay. It is reasonably priced and close to the zocolo. We had breakfast here three days the food was well prepared and delicious. The rooms are good sized the shower has plenty of hot water. It was cold while we were here and we asked for a portable heater for our room, which... More

We were searching for another hotel to stay in after returning to SC from Ocosingo. We tried booking this place via the net but the booking failed, so we walked over and talked with the evening staff who offered a king room for 880 pesos, about $62. We took it. The price listed on booking.com and on their price board... More

The place was just what we were looking for: a clean, quiet, comfortable, (pretty) and very central accommodation. The bedrooms have everything we needed. We were very impressed by the kindness of a young guy who helped us park the car in the garage. The small café/bar is very nice and has good prices (compared to some central restaurants)

Quaint little hotel just a few blocks from the amazing main hub. Fellow at the front desk was very helpful and spoke fluent English which was great for us. It was very clean....the courtyard was peaceful and the included breakfast always good. Only drawback was an inability to communicate directly with this hotel - we booked via booking.com and there... this hotel is an optimal choice for a visit to san cristobal de las casas, the location is perfect, close enough to the center and all attractions, but yet very quiet and safe, clean and comfortable rooms, very functional although not huge, extraordinar service, very friendly helpful and efficient, internal indoor parking, we enjoyed our stay very much, and highly... This hotel is situated just a few blocks from the main shopping and restaurant area. Very good location. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Beds were big and comfortable. Our room was a little cold but they supply heaters. We enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant also. Only downsides would be the bathroom gets very wet after a shower... More

We arrived in San Cristobal at around 8 a.m. after spending a night in the bus. After arriving at the hotel, we were let into our room at around 9 a.m. and got some rest. The hotel was also happy to let us have the breakfast that came with the room on the morning of our arrival, rather than that... More
