Warm welcome, friendly staff, huge comfy bed and pillows, hot water, great wi-fi, great restaurant, close to the centre and restaurants. We liked it a lot, would have been excellent except for the noise from the traffic that starts at around 7am (except Sundays). But being a hard working tourist you should be up by that time ;)

I recently stayed at this hotel during a conference in San Cristobal. The hotel is quaint and cozy and has a fantastic restaurant by the same name. I had a tremendous poached chicken dish with ripe plantains and mole that was some of the best food I have eaten in Mexico. Drinks are extremely expensive. I stayed in room #104... More

We were a little unlucky with the noisy street corner room. The room itself is very nice and had a good bed. The small sitting area in the courtyard looks a little outdated. They seem to have a great restaurant, but the two snacks we took in the outdoor area were both very dry of taste. So we decided not... More

Thank you to all the people that works at this exceptional place. The comfort I experienced was immediate, but when I tried their food my body and soul was conquered completely. There is not other place where you can enjoy more San Cristobal that in Tierra y Cielo. I toured many places and visited the whole city…needless to say that... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel, the place could be called charminig, rooms are okay, bathrooms are dark and imposible to manuever in, having old rusted faucets is not quiant. The food from the restaurant is creative, very good, but the service all around from lobby to restaurant staff is inexistent. My husband, two children and I stayed... More

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The rooms, the service, the staff and the location could not be better. The restaurant gave us some of the most tantalising food we have ever tasted. There are cheaper places to stay in San Cristobal but if your up to spoiling yourself, this is the place to be.

On the surface brilliant but our room had a huge damp stain in the wardrobe and the musty smell was so overpowering so that it affected my sleep and my daughter's breathing. Our clothes now still smell damp. It is in a great location however and there were lots of lovely touches such as a welcoming local drink but overall... More

Excellent location, two blocks from the "Zocalo", nicely decorated rooms, pleasant service. The best feature is the restaurant where you find good dishes even during longer stays (we stayed four nights). Good value for the money.

During the second day of our stay in the hotel, an iPad went missing from our room. After searching thoroughly through the room we reported the incident to the management. Their first response was of incredulity implying that the misplacing of the ipad was entirely our responsibility. After asking to talk to the owner they told that he was unavailable... More

The hotel has a perfect central ubication and, in general, has very good rooms, restaurant, common areas, etc. but the staff do not have the enough professionalism to run this place. We stayed just for one night and it was enough to see some regular aspects about the place. At the end of our breakfast (including in our price), we... More
