We recently spent 7 nights at Hotel Posada Yagul. The staff was exceedingly friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were large, but very basic. We had problems with not always having hot water in our room. The staff was helpful, offered to switch rooms, etc. It sounds like this was not a global problem. Wifi was good in our... More

I was lucky to stumble across Hotel Posada Yagul upon my first visit to Oaxaca. I spent about a week here with my boyfriend and it was dreamy :)! It is in the perfect location minutes away on foot from the markets and beautiful botanical gardens. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are crazy comfy and the hot... More

A friend and I just spent 9 nights in Hotel Posada Yagul. The longer we stayed the happier we were with our choice. It is a small hotel located within easy walking distance to the zocalo and all that the city center has to offer. We felt very secure walking around the entire area at night. Except for ugly old... We stayed six nights at the Hotel Posada Yagul and enjoyed every minute of the time. The manager and all the other staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered our choice of rooms after the first night and we chose a room at the back, "Coyotepec" (all the rooms have names). Our bed was comfortable and clean and the... More

I felt in house in this place. I was traveling for my honeymoon for a month in America and this place is insane just magical. The service is the best, staff explain you everything you need for traveling. All places are nearby and wifi is really good cause I could keep in touch with my family all the time! Food... More

The hotel is very close to downtown, walking distance, and offers a very healthy breakfast, as well as other items which can be requested. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a small hotel, but with high standards of service. It is good for solo travelers, as well as families. Highly recommended!!!

staying at Posada Yagul was a really wonderful experience. all staff were friendly and helpful, but the woman who works in the mornings was exceptionally kind to us, sharing tips on what to see and where to find mexican microbrews! we staying in a room that faced the front courtyard, so had great wireless access. the room is a bit... This hotel is an excellent value. The staff were incredibly helpful in planning out time in Oaxaca. The rooms in the front half of the hotel have wifi in the room. The rooms in the back do not. The patio area has wifi, as does the cafe. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main plaza - far... More

Stayed at Posada Yagul for two nights around Dia de los Muertos, as I was unable to extend my Airbnb apartment and Posada Yagul was nearby - I found it just by walking around the neighborhood. You can see it has not many reviews, and many of the reviews are in Spanish. It is more a small hotel than "specialty... More

The location of this hotel could not be better. Just a couple of blocks from the Zocalo, which is the heart of Oaxaca. The price is very reasonable. The rooms are large, and some of them have cool architectural detail. Included in the price is a healthy, tasty breakfast of fruit with yogurt and granola, along with bread, coffee and... More
