We booked this hotel in advance with booking.com. Camba was extremely modern and comfortable, much more than a budget hotel. We also thought the location was great, walking everywhere in the evening feeling safe. We told friends about our experience and they booked a room beside us our second night. We extended our stay after being there and would have... More

This place offers good balance between a centric location within walking distance from the city centre, and the comfort and honesty of a family-run property with good attention to customers and a nice atmosphere, all for a reasonable price. A decent continental breakfast is included and although they don't have parking lot as such, if you are lucky (as we... More

We stayed for one week. Nice modern rooms, attentive staff. A bit outside central area but still convenient. Breakfast is not lavish but OK. I would stay here again as the price makes this a good value.

The hotel is in a good central location in the town close to the Zocalo and restaurants. The streets are narrow so be careful if you are driving into the town. The hotel itself i.e. its rooms are probably worth 2.5 stars but it is clean and a nice courtyard sitting area. I would say it is one of the... More

i stayed in hotel camba for 2 nights while in oaxaca.. it was simple and clean and the price was ok however if you were looking for someplace to go eat at night, walking certainly wasn't an option.. the streets are dark and eerie and it gave me a weird feeling to wander around.. i took a cab to a... Just spent a week in Oaxaca at Hotel Camba. Very friendly and helpful staff. Andres--who works in the evenings--was a great help with getting around (and our terrible spanish). The price and location are decent, relative to Oaxaca Centro--an easy walk but far from the noise of the fiesta Dia de Los Muertos. However, the hotel is right beside a... More

Located a few blocks from historic downtown and not expensive at all. Friendly and attentive staff made you feel welcome. We recommend eating at the Benito Juarez Mercado. The only thing is that they need to upgrade the rooms a little bit. Other than that it was good?.

Bright, clean, modern hotel at a reasonable price. Bright, neutral decor (i.e. no Mexican handicrafts or anything similar, so it lacks a little "local charm", but was nice). We were a bit unlucky with noise because a new gym opened next door and began blasting music at incredible volumes while we were there. After a couple of days of that,... More

Great little hotel for the price. The staff were friendly. Stayed in an upstairs room which got warm at night but the fan helped. Breakfast was minimal. Best to supplement with tacos in an early morning walk towards the market. Quiet and very clean.

Hotel Camba is a great value in Oaxaca. The courtyard is bright and the hotel is very clean. We always saw the staff cleaning throughout the day and everyday during our six night stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful with booking tours, taxis, etc. The breakfast is continental with fresh squeezed juice and brewed coffee. I asked for... More
