From the moment the door was opened for us by Lourdes, we knew had found our home in Oaxaca. The transformed colonial home has beautiful appointments, each room with its own personality. The breakfast is beautifully served on the patio, which is also a wonderful place to relax upon returning from the days' adventures. It is easy and safe to... More

The Hotel is in the heart of the city. Very clean and quite. Great staff and very helpful. We took a tour that the Hotel staff set up and it was awesome! I miss the Breakfast every morning on the patio. We'll be back!

We stayed at La Casona de Tita for the Dia de los Muertos festival. Thank you, TripAdvisor reviewers for pointing us to this place! Definitely truth in advertising. We stayed in room 1, with large (very comfortable) king bed and huge bath and could not have been more comfortable. Loved the fact that this was once someone's home, with rooms... More

Really unique, each room is special as is the service and every detail. Quiet and well located the rooms, bathrooms and the patio are parts of what will be an unforgettable trip. Oaxaca is magical with an incredible cultural density, La Casona is a great place to start.

After a week in Mexico City, we came down to Oaxaca for a week and nestled in to this lovely property. There are 6 clean and well appointed rooms that surround a lovely courtyard. It's quiet and relaxing after a long day of exploring. When you walk in...it feels like home. Everyone was so very nice, but we want to... More
