I confess we spent many hours researching hotels in Oaxaca, based on our desire to be centrally located in the historic center of Oaxaca, in a hotel with a colorful Mexican/Oaxaca feel where we would feel more like family than just the occupants of room x. Casa de Siete Balcones seemed to fit and we were absolutely delighted with our... More

Very warm and cozy. The service was great. They always made sure to check if we needed anything. Enjoyed having breakfast brought to the room with no extra charge. It is located in the center of Oaxaca, so very easy to walk to places from the hotel. A mi esposo y a mi nos encanto estar ahi. El lugar esta... More

We reserved six rooms for a week and could not have been happier. We go to Oaxaca regularly and have found a new home at The Casa Siete Balcones. We have stayed at other hotels over the years, we were not able to stay at our regular small hotel and were recommended by them to try Casa Siete Balcones. A... More

Stay in this hotel and you will feel as you are staying at your mexican grandmas house hehe and by this I mean, you will feel very pamper. It is a very small hotel that gives you the feeling of exclusivity, the staff are extremely kind and helpful, they take care of every detail of your stay. What I like... More

A friend and I stayed here for a night and I loved the place so much I stayed for another on my own. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Elisa was especially helpful when my friend took my adapter home with her and I needed another. She phoned around and found a store I could pick one up from... More

The Siete Balcones is a delightful roomy old building right in the centre of the old city close to all the visitor attractions. Our room was very roomy and comfortable with modern facilities. The hotel does not have many general facilities but we did not miss them as we were out most of the time. I noted that some much... More

What a sweet find in Oaxaca! The Casa de Siete Balcones is a terrific place to stay. Its location a couple blocks from the zocalo is close enough to be convenient, but far enough to avoid the noise. And it's located near many of the finer artisan shops and restaurants north of the zocalo. This small hotel has lots of... More

We enjoyed a warm welcome when we checked in here for 5 nights to enjoy everything that Oaxaca has to offer. Reception here is on the ground floor off Morellos and all of the rooms are at first floor level including the main open terrace/breakfast area. The hotel is an easy walk to the Zocalo, major attractions, shops and restaurants.... More

We stayed at casa de siete balcones for about a week around Christmas time. We loved the location of the hotel. It's just two blocks from the Zocolo and in a great location to experience the energy of the city during Christmas. Very few people on staff spoke English but the staff was wonderful and did everything they could to... More

We had gracious service, comfortable accommodations in a neighborhood we enjoyed. Close to what we wanted, walking distance to most everthing. The hotel , to our astonishment, presented us witha cake, upon hearing there was a birthday! That is a first! This is a converted mansion, not many rooms, and breakfast was included. Fresh fruit, juice, coffe, rolls.
