We loved our stay at Parador San Miguel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel itself is beautiful inside, and the sundecks were a perfect place to sit and soak in the morning sun. The only issue you may encounter (if have limited mobility) is that I'm not aware of any elevator, only stairs. It was interesting to see... More

We stayed here mid December and the hotel is fantastic. The rooms excellent and very clean. The service we received from the staff was beyond reproach. They all went out of their way to be of assistance. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent, but is a bit cramped and on more than one occasion, half of a table would have to... More

Chose this place when I learned that all the great staff where I'd previously stayed were no longer there. Rooms are fine (though mostly dark due to colonial style architecture), very clean, good hot water and water pressure, nice products in bathroom and towels are plenty and absorbent. Bed very comfortable and linens good quality. Wifi was a bit spotty... More

The hotel is in a great location ( some earlier reviews said the road was too busy, but we didn't find that a problem). The room and hotel itself are immaculately clean. Air-conditioner worked well and wasn't too loud. Most importantly the staff was great and Jorge at the front desk was very helpful to us non-Spanish speaking tourists. We... More

A boutique hotel with excellent staff and service standards. Ok the rooms are small but beds are comfortable and linen great. Good food in the restaurant at very reasonable prices. Right in the heart of Oaxaca with a short walk to the square where it all happens and to all major attractions in the city. Worth staying there.

Great location! Just 2 blocks away from the Zócalo! The staff is very friendly and always ready to assist you in anything you need! Excellent service! There is valet parking, which is very helpful as the street is very busy. The premises are very charming! We stayed in a suite and the reason I do not give 5 stars is... More

Very pleasant - the logia is flowered and occupied by noisy parrots. No complaints except that plugs are not supplied for plug holes - advice: use the circular plastic mats on which tumblers are placed in the bathroom. Watch out for the toilets - very narrow outlet so be careful you do not block! One can walk out and see... More

This hotel is lovely and is one I will remember for a long time. We stayed here for three nights on a tour of some parts of Mexico and I loved it as soon as I walked through the door: Colourful and a bit hippy with lots of personal touches. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the corner... More

The location of this hotel is beautifully central: steps away from the cathedral. However, this means that every day you will be woken by very loud church bells every 15 minutes from 7am, and hear the zocalo ambience as you go to sleep (not to mention the loud tweeting caged birds everywhere). The rooms are charming: large and pretty and... More

My sister and I shared a double room at Parador during the Oaxaca Film Festival. The room, though small, was pleasant and clean. We enjoyed coming back to find our folded towels creating a different animal every day! The breakfast space is very agreeable, and the main courtyard also. The staff is exceptionally nice and paired us with a wonderful... More
