We did not pick this hotel. The tour group did. After staying there for 5 nights, I would make it my own choice for a couple of important reasons. It was reasonably priced at about 600p. It was clean and attractive. Not a knockout, but welcoming. It was quiet with says a lot given the hordes of people on the... More

The hotel has standard and superior rooms. As per their information by phone the only difference is that superior rooms has a/c but that's not true. The superior rooms have new furniture and are much nicer decorated. When we arrived they showed us both rooms as I asked for and they where able to give us the superior room. The... More

I went to Oaxaca for New Year's eve, and I was looking for a well located hotel in the middle of the downtown with a reasonable price. When I first arrived to the downtown, I was worried about the noise and all the movement around the hotel, but once you're inside is like you are in other corner. The hotel... More

Problems all the time. First: room facing to the street, really loud, wc did not work. They "repaired" it and of course did not work. I asked to change our room and even though they had a lot of empty rooms they just offered one which was interior, no light and loud, because there was a light/air entrance which was... More

We stayed for 11 days over El Dia de los Muertos. Our stay was amazing. Only 1 block from the zocalo! The hotel has several courtyards, is extremely clean, full of gorgeous art and flowers and very quiet. They created an amazing Day of the Dead ofrenda in the entry way. If you need some help to get around you... More

Booked 3 nights over the day of the dead at this place. First problem was they started sending me emails saying there was a problem with my credit card and to re-enter and submit details via the booking company I used. After the third time called the booking agent to find out that hotel Trebol had overbooked rooms and instead... More

Can't fault this place. Lots of lovely touches. No breakfast included but as much complimentary fresh fruit as you could eat with cereal and yoghurt. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Would love to go back to Oaxaca and would definitely stay her again.

Trebol is a basic, but excellent, hotel situated right in the middle of Oaxaca. The central square is one block away, the best market next door. We were in a room overlooking the central courtyard so no issues with noise. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean. Incredibly good value! Recommended.

On our recent trip around Mexico, we decided we needed to fit one slightly cheaper hotel in for fear of completely going over the budget after booking relatively high end hotels in Mexico city and Tulum. However, Hotel Trebol, although cheap was really surprisingly good. The location is brilliant and near to the bustling food and crafts market nearby (would... More

Last time I was in Oaxaca was about 20 years ago so when they opened a direct flight from my home city (Cancun) to Oaxaca I decided to go for a weekend.
