My husband, nine month old and I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. We had a double room and it had plenty of room for a pack n play and room to spare. Based n other reviews we were not expecting breakfast, but each morning we had a delicious breakfast that was filling. The coffee was... More

We spent three nights here in April and really liked this hotel. It has spacious rooms, a pretty courtyard and very pleasant staff. Well located, one block from the Zocalo and 10 minutes to Santa Domingo, and great value for money.

The location is very good. Nearby are many shops and restaurants. The room was clean, the double bed was small. The staff were very nice and it was a quiet room considering the location was so close to city center . Shower and toilet small but clean.Free tea, coffee and fruit all day. Parking is not close to the hotel,... More

I almost hate to write this review, because the Hotel Trebol seems to be a secret, and I have always been able to get a reservation, but here goes: This is a small hotel, very reasonably priced, with good service (really nice people), very clean rooms, and a nice area for gathering, eating a continental breakfast and doing internet (although... i found Trebol hotel because i was tired of walking 7 blocks to the zocolo.. the streets in oaxaca are quite dark at night and it was slightly unnerving so i moved locations.. it was a nice hotel, not 4 star by any means and had no coffee in the morning, just hot water for tea.. it was slightly over... Found this on Hotels.com for $46 USD/night. While we had a very small room, it was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat! One block from the large Zocolo and directly across the street from the large Benito Juarez Marketplace. Would certainly return and recommend to all. Staff does not speak much English, but... More

Great place to crash. A block from the zocalo, markets and mexcal. Next door is a chocolate store you will want to check out. The room was big, clean and comfortable. My room over looked the garden on the first floor. Very nice for an interior room.

We had a price guarantee of about $40.00 a night. They tried to raise the room rate to $100 a night, very high for this area. The clerk said that VAT and City tax required this. On the reservation form it said that Vat and City tax were about 20% additional. BUYER BEWARE Seek elsewhere. First time I have had... More

As we were driving into Oaxaca we wanted a good value central hotel to explore the city by foot with safe secure car parking. The hotel is opposite the markets and just 1 block from the Zocalo so the location is just perfect to be in the hub of the action, the city is easy to walk around without getting... More

The Good: Friendly and helpful staff and at least two of them speak english fluently. Great location right across the street from Benito Jaurez markets and one block to Zocalo. Good size room and very pleasant surroundings Handy in-house travel agent arranged a driver, charged by the hour which worked out well for us. The driver named Julio spoke english... More
