I moved to this Hotel from "La Casona de dos Patios" in the downtown historic center. I regretted my move and I will tell you why. This location is not near anything of walking distance, other than a Supermarket. The restaurant was extremely slow, I waited nearly 25 minutes for a cappuccino two days in a row and when I... More

Hotel was just a short walk from where our son was staying in Oaxaca, which was a great bonus for us. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for a week, then went on a road trip, then returned for just one night before our departure. First room we stayed in was very dark, and looked out onto... More

This hotel is located just outside downtown Oaxaca, near to the road to Monte Alban. Nice garden and spa. Rooms are spacious, the furniture is basic. Beds are just fine. The restaurant is very good and opens till late. The staff was very friendly. Very good value for money.

This is a restaurant review. I couldn't figure out how to be the first one to write a restaurant review, so I'm leaving it under the hotel. I'd say this Sunday buffet is the best vegetarian meal in town. I'd prefer it to be vegan, but they seem to be catering to the Mexican preference for cheese. Also, I wish... More

if there is anything good to say- the staff are nice and friendly, in addition to this, the quality of this hotel is horrible... we chose this hotel one week before the check in date because it was the cheapest hotel left, and the online photos looks very nice. when we arrived, we were very disappointed, nothing looks like the... Fooled by the nice pictures on Hotel.com as well as the opportunity to enjoy relaxing spa-facilities we booked 4 days at Los Olivos. However, we soon came to regret this due to more reasons. 1) The hotel is extremely noisy. One thing is that the walls are paper-thin, another is that the hotel staff starts up with very noisy activities... More

This hotel is often advertised as "5 mins" from the downtown -- perhaps by car. It's a 40 minute walk. The hotel is on a very busy thoroughfare and the rooms are constructed with slat windows, meaning noise (and everything else) leaks in. I found the staff and other guests quite noisy. The desk staff were not unfriendly, but not... More
