We stayed here for 3 nights in July. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town. The courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are dark and cool. We had a double room with shared bathroom, both of which were very clean. The beds get made daily. It did get a little noisy one evening with the door bell... More

The hotel is nice, and can also be considered a hostel. You can either get a room with a private bathroom or a much cheaper room that you use the shared bathroom in the commons area. The bathroom was clean for the most part, but a bit awkward walking from the shower in a towel through the courtyard.

This is a small, quaint Posada a couple of blocks from the center of town. The rooms have a typical Mexican flair and are very clean. The staff is very helpful in giving us directions and helping us schedule tours. They also have a small restaurant which had delicious authentic Oaxaca food as well as omlettes and American breakfasts, good... More

This is an awesome hotel at a great price right in the center of Oaxaca (three blocks from the Zocalo) situated in a historical building with two courtyards with fountains filled with trees, flowers (potted and cut fresh in vases), nice tables and benches. Our room (two beds, No. 22) was recently remodeled with nice furniture, tasteful wall and other... More

Nice old place, good rooms and good location. Our booking confirmation was in USD. We had pesos to pay, but the hotel tried to give us a poor exchange rate from the USD of the confirmation. We ended up paying the correct price, but a little frustrating. No kitchen and wifi is very poor. I can handle no wifi, except... More

The Hotel itself is beautiful, it has 2 courtyards and 2 terraces on the roof, lots of seats in and around the courtyards to sit and relax, it's nice and quiet at night so no trouble getting to sleep, the housekeeping staff came into the room everyday to make the bed and give us fresh towels. The staff on reception... More

Our family of four stayed in Oaxaca for 3 nights. The hotel was perfectly situated in the center of town. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the outdoors via an open courtyard and a lovely patio on the roof. There's an excellent cafe adjoined to the hotel with amazing breakfast choices. We would stay there again!

This hotel has been excellent. We came from ciel rojo which was more of a party hostel and we wanted a more relaxed atmosphere so we came here because of the great prices (375 pesos for a double with shared bathroom, NO breakfast included.) our room is simple but comfortable, they give us fresh towels and make up the bed... This hotel capped a great stay for us in Oaxaca. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak English, rooms are clean and quiet, and the hotel provides unlimited purified water to all guests. But best of all is the location, less than a 5 minute walk to centro historico and the heart of Oaxaca The open courtyard is a great way... More
