the hotel was beautiful. the room beautiful. breakfast - (small) but spectacular. 2 problems, though. we specifically booked because thier website said they offer cooking classes. i confirmed this fact, stated we would like cooking classes for 2 for 4 days, and then confirmed a price for the classes. only after that was done, did we actually reserve the room.... more

My husband and I stayed at Encanto Jalatlaco for 4 nights in March 09 in the "Carolina" room. Spotlessly clean, great breakfasts, very helpful hostess (Maria). The Jalatlaco neighborhood may be a bit farther from the center of things but it's quiet. more
