Las Bugambilias was a fantastic find and my friends and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The breakfasts were works of art and being there near the Day of the Dead made it even more festive. The hosts were all super nice and helpful with planning and information. The tour we took through them was also fantastic. Location was excellent and... More

The location was perfect. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful, the rooms comfortable, decorated with Mexican flair and with local art. Breakfast was a treat for the eyes as well as the tummy, the fresh squeezed juices were a delight, pineapple, lettuce and cucumber was my favorite! This is a small hotel with personal service and oodles of style.

I would highly, highly recommend staying at Bugambilias if you have the opportunity. The rooms and outdoor areas are gorgeous. The family and staff are exceptionally warm, helpful, and engaging. Every morning the breakfast is delightful! I was a solo traveller and loved the opportunity to socialize with other travelers at breakfast and again throughout the day. When I return... More

We spent 6 nights in the Zempo room at Casa Del Las Bugambilias in January 2015. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and kept meticulously clean. The breakfasts were fantastic! We loved coming back to the B&B in the evening to see what the place settings looked like for the next morning's breakfast - different every day! And every day... More

This was a real find. The rooms are comfortable and furnished in Mexican style. The house is full of colourful folk art, quirky and pretty. Breakfasts were a treat, different every day. Freshly made and beautifully presented. Accommodated our vegetarian coeliac with flare. Definitely one to return to.

The staff is so nice, the food delicious, the rooms well appointed. I love the location of this B&B. It's a short walk to the Zocalo, but close to restaurants, shops, and Santo Domingo. We have been here multiple times and we love to see what's new in the neighborhood every time we visit. Oaxaca is a beautiful city and... More

An excellent value. Spacious rooms, good food, private and public outside areas, free purified water and wifi. Ideal location. Helpful staff. stayed at the quinta real afterwards for a couple of nights...much flashier with less quality. Found myself wishing I'd kept on here. : )

We spend 6 nights in this lovely B&B at the beginning of November and always felt like "coming home" after a day of touring and browsing through beautiful Oaxaca. It is very close to the Old City Center and the neighborhood is quite upscale. Las Bougambilias is a shining star of the B&B family and the management and staff is... More

Lovely villa, front desk very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Excellent location for exploring Oaxaca - sights, restaurants, market and the many cobbled streets and parks. We stayed in Girasoles suite, while it was beautifully furnished and maintained by housekeeping, it was a little noisy from the restaurant next door and had a very small bathroom.

This was our fourth stay at this charming B&B. Every time we love it more. The folks that stay here are all so interesting that the breakfast are a great time to trade travel stories. The rooms are wonderful and the staff is top notch. Adrianna makes sure that every detail is taken care of for you. We not only... More
