I loved me stay here! Perfect location, fabulous staff, delicious breakfast, super reasonable prices. I stayed in Las Camilias, which was absolutely charming and the perfect amount of space for one person. I will come back here if I'm ever in Oaxaca again!

A wonderful experience from the greeting we got from Adriana, to the patience of the night clerk as we waited for our late night bus. All were pleasant, charming and more than accommodating. Great food, squeeky clean environment and more than helpful in all of our requests. Tremendous plus were the Tours than Rene guided us on. Places and people we would... More

As you can see, this place is highly recommended by many others already. My family loved Las Bugambilias and would've stayed longer if the rooms would've been available. We actually canceled plans to go to Puebla because we loved Oaxaca and the place so much. We did three tours with Rene and they were all great. I'd highly recommend him... More

We stayed 6 nights in Violetas. The entire stay was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was large. There was a beautiful balcony outside of a large patio door. The entire facility was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were kind and helpful and available 24 hours a day. In July, we slept with the patio door... More

We (my wife and I) stayed 4 nights in Violetas. The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfasts were delicious (and beautiful), and the room was very comfortable. You can be in the thick of things by walking just a minute or two out of the front door, but Bugambilias is peaceful and quiet. Love the location and the great, easy... More

Bugambilias was an excellent place to stay during our trip. it was very centrally located and only several blocks from the Zocalo but actually we found the area that this B&B is located in is much quieter and less touristy than the Zocalo area. We went to the Zocalo area once but much preferred the area where we stayed and... More

......because it is such a wonderful place I hate to encourage more people to go there. Everything about this B&B is great. It is not fancy but the rooms are nice and very comfortable. We were in a downstairs room with no a/c and even when it was 90 degrees we were comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and... More

There probably isnt much we could add to the already great reviews that others have written here. We stayed a full week and the team were wonderful to us in every way throughout. Always a smile on their faces, seemingly relaxed, courteous and helpful. Their advice about the surrounding districts, spot on. The breakfasts, divine. Would we stay there again?....Without... More

Bugambilias is Spanish for bourganvillas, the pretty, vibrantly colored flowers that overhang the entryway to this wonderful, family-run B&B located in the heart of Oaxaca's historic downtown. My thoughtfully appointed room had a comfy bed and other welcome amenities. Each morning's sublime breakfasts planned by a master chef and executed by her skillful staff, featured fresh juices, fresh fruit, yogurt... More

A beautiful guesthouse, with an amazing location. Very close to the restaurants and centre of town. However, we didn't hear any noise and slept really well. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The highlight was breakfast where the staff are incredibly friendly and food is delicious. Great value as well. I would definitely recommend this. Thank you so much... More
