I've stayed in quite a few hotels and the best ones are those you wish not to leave. Casa Oaxaca is by far one of those spots which has made it to my top 5 of best places ever. From the outside it looks like nothing fancy, but once within you're welcomed with open arms by a crew of highly... More

In February we returned to Casa Ollin in Oaxaca for three weeks, our sixth stay there over six years. Always welcoming and accommodating, Jon and Judith remain at the helm assisted by the same wonderful staff -- ever friendly, efficient, and helpful. If anything had changed, it was only for the better. Comfortable, well-decorated, impeccably clean rooms and delicious Mexican... More

Beyond expectations. Service: superb. Food: superb. All staff went the extra mile to make you comfortable. They put so much attention to details and make every experience beautiful. The cherry on top: excellent value. Though not cheap, the price is lower than many top, world class hotels and this one may even surpass many famous hotels.

This was my second time returning to Oaxaca, and my experience at Casa Oaxaca was truly incredible. We took cooking class with Alejandro Ruiz which will bring memories forever. We had room 2 which was beautiful and airy. The food has new meanings when eating at the restaurants run by my new friend Chef Alejandro. Thank you all, the staff... More

I can't race enough about this hotel. We were beyond thrilled. We traveled with grandparents and small children and we had the only 2 bedroom suite. It has one room with a king bed and another with 2 queen beds, a small living room space between and a bathroom to share (shower area and toilet separate) and a very spacious... More

Casa Oaxaca is by far my best food experience in Mexico (it was my first visit). The waiters were very professional and the food was extremely good. I went twice. The first time I got a table on the roof/terrace which was great. I would go back to that restaurant in no time!

Casa Oaxaca is perfect in every way - I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars. We only left a few days ago but I couldn't wait to sing the praises of this gem. My brother stayed here three years ago for the same week (between Christmas and New Years) and convinced us to join him this year.... More

An absolutely divine dining experience out under the stars, with absolutely delicious food and very attentive, friendly staff. My only downside is that the staff are a little too efficient - whipping our plates away while we were still on our last mouthfuls. The food and the setting though are magnificent.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. This is a guesthouse with a five star standard of food and service. The walls are painted white and furnishings are simple but solid--the special decoration effects come from the art spotted everywhere you look. We had one of the downstairs rooms fronting the courtyard. In the morning you tumble out a few steps... More

This seven-room property in an excellent location in central Oaxaca is an extraordinarily beautiful hotel with wonderful service. We had a two room suite with a sitting room and a wonderful bathroom (great shower pressure) for less than $300. There were fresh flowers in every room and the bathroom and our bedroom's windows opened up to a beautiful courtyard and... More
