Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. This is a guesthouse with a five star standard of food and service. The walls are painted white and furnishings are simple but solid--the special decoration effects come from the art spotted everywhere you look. We had one of the downstairs rooms fronting the courtyard. In the morning you tumble out a few steps... More

This seven-room property in an excellent location in central Oaxaca is an extraordinarily beautiful hotel with wonderful service. We had a two room suite with a sitting room and a wonderful bathroom (great shower pressure) for less than $300. There were fresh flowers in every room and the bathroom and our bedroom's windows opened up to a beautiful courtyard and... More

I stayed in the two level accommodation set back behind the swimming pool. I felt a bit like a queen. Upstairs and downstairs were homey with touches of luxury. The bed is perfectly positioned so the guest can open the large windows overlooking rooftops to the sky. Art work and flowers added to the elegance. Bathrooms are large, modern and... More

We stayed for 8 nights and had a wonderful experience. The warmth of the staff and their help with anything we wanted or needed was unparalleled. They organized an itinerary for 4 days of touring, found us very knowledgable and trustworthy guides who took us to archaeological sites as well as artisans that you might not visit or know about... Only eight rooms but all the amenities one would want, plus fabulous breakfasts in the stylish courtyard. Rooms are spacious and our double queen had a small reading area with windows that opened to an outdoor space at back, making for great cross ventilation. Terrific shower. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only downsides: $200 a night and wifi is unreliable,... More

We recently stayed at Casa Oaxaca for the first time. As soon as I walked into the courtyard and our room, I realized that the website and reviewer photographs do not do this place justice. It is absolutely beautiful, tranquil, and stylish! The staff is welcoming, the courtyard is bustling with beauty and tranquility, the rooms are large, and the... More

You may be able to find other hotels with better style and service, but I sincerely doubt it. Their photos are deceptive in their humility; Casa Oaxaca is traditional, beautiful, stylishly decorated. The service is second to none - staff tend to your every need with maximum privacy. As a case in point, they recommended a tour guide one day.... More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Oaxaca in July 2014. The property is lovely, immaculately maintained and very well located. The staff (from manager to bell man) was friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Their enthusiasm for their guests' enjoyment of the hotel and the city was obvious.

Just got back from a wonderful two-night stay in at Casa Oaxaca. It is truly a comfortable, relaxing oasis in the center of Oaxaca. We stayed in one of the suites, and loved the tower-high ceilings, roomy bathroom, and comfortable bed. Further, the interior of the hotel is two relaxing courtyards - one for dinner / drinks / lounging (at... More
