Having visited at least a half a dozen times in the past few years the wonderful city of Oaxaca, I must say that this last trip was the most enjoyable of all. One block away from the magnificent Santo Domingo plaza, Hotel Casa Oaxaca has the best layout and service of any boutique hotel in town. Surrounded by excellent restaurants,... More

Food was great, the grounds beautiful, staff very helpful but the pool was dirty. When we were there, a family with couples and lots of children were in residence also and so the noise level for meals and relaxing was awful. Not the hotels problem and the hotel apologized over and over. I would stay again.

My husband and I were married here in February of 2010 so this review is long overdue. We've traveled extensively over the past 5 years and I feel compelled to write a review based on all my experiences post - Casa Oaxaca. This hotel is perfection. I compare everywhere I stay to Casa Oaxaca. The service is exemplary, the food... More

This charming small hotel would be easy to miss from the exterior. Entering a large reception area you can look through to a large patio where the divine breakfasts and the best dinners in town are served. We had a beautiful two story room that looked out on to a quiet courtyard and a small pool. All was perfect.

Love it,the are so many good restaurants in Oaxaca, but somehow we end up dinning here 3 times during our visit, the tomato salad is the best! Service was also great! Beautiful place, nice atmosphere...can't wait to be back, just one more week...Casa Oaxaca I will see you soon!

I went with my sons to Oaxaca and went to have dinner to Casa Oaxaca. We were seated at a terrace on the ceiling of the building with a great view of Santo Domingo. The place was really nice and the food superb. We ate new Oaxacan cuisine which was excelletly prepared. The attention was excellent too making our visit... More

I've stayed in quite a few hotels and the best ones are those you wish not to leave. Casa Oaxaca is by far one of those spots which has made it to my top 5 of best places ever. From the outside it looks like nothing fancy, but once within you're welcomed with open arms by a crew of highly... More

Beyond expectations. Service: superb. Food: superb. All staff went the extra mile to make you comfortable. They put so much attention to details and make every experience beautiful. The cherry on top: excellent value. Though not cheap, the price is lower than many top, world class hotels and this one may even surpass many famous hotels.

This was my second time returning to Oaxaca, and my experience at Casa Oaxaca was truly incredible. We took cooking class with Alejandro Ruiz which will bring memories forever. We had room 2 which was beautiful and airy. The food has new meanings when eating at the restaurants run by my new friend Chef Alejandro. Thank you all, the staff... More

I can't race enough about this hotel. We were beyond thrilled. We traveled with grandparents and small children and we had the only 2 bedroom suite. It has one room with a king bed and another with 2 queen beds, a small living room space between and a bathroom to share (shower area and toilet separate) and a very spacious... More
