Well located but noisy......lots of street noise. The room was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the hot water while we were there and having a shower was a challenge, would not hesitate to stay there again if that was sorted.

Service was excellent especially by Odilia the receptionist. Very charming, clean and mexican style. Our room type apartment was lovely, and always clean. Just a little problem this room it is exactly facing the street which is a very busy one with local busus , cars, motorcycles. Does not matter a lot since after sightseeing we came to sleep and... Yes, it's small but it is perfectly located. When we got there they gave us a map and showed us our rooms. We arrived late in the evening and they were immediately ready with advice for where to eat and were willing to make a booking for us. The rooms were clean and perfect for the purpose. The only drawback... More

Hotel Oaxaca magico. Coming from a world of 5 diamonds hotels, all inclusive hotels and traveled to North America extensively, South America and Europe tend to spoil your taste for hotels. Coming to a charming town like Oaxaca requires some adjustment on your mind set, you need to forget the "Americanize sized rooms" and think more in the European way... More

Small boutique hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. Clean, budget friendly, close to everything, and most importantly a very friendly staff that went above and beyond for my friend and I. My spanish is pretty much non-existent (though I plan on changing that!), but they were very patient and helped us figure out our way around the lovely city, arrange... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in this wonderful little hotel during Dia de los Muertos festival and it was wonderful. Luis snd Odilia were super friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was only three blocks away from the Zocala so it was an esasy stroll to all the sites.

Great value for money, especially when finding a room during the Day of the Dead festival proved difficult. The room was on the small side and, with both the door and window facing internal courtyards, it was rather noisy. Overall, though, not a bad visit if on a budget.

Location was very good. It was in the middle of everything. Easy access to historical center, shops and other places. The staff was friendly. Beautiful courtyard. Rooms are a little old, very small room. No safety box in the room. Thin walls, very noisy, poor sleep. Bathroom very, very small, in need of repair. Window-door inside the hotel, no windows... Very clean, good location, pretty interior, smiley staff. Gave 4 out of 5 for the service only because staff don't speak English so it was hard to communicate with them but their friendliness and helpfulness made up greatly for it!!!

Stayed there for 3 days at October 2012. The hotel has good location - between the Basilica la Soledad and Zocalo. Very nice people at the reception - so helpful with everything you need. I'm not sure if they're good in english but if you know spanish - better for you. Maybe they speak english also, didn't check that :)... More
