We returned to Oaxaca city from Puerto Escondido two nights before we were due to leave Mexico. We decided not to return to our last hotel because we wanted somewhere with a pool, even though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Florida. We arrived at 7am after a 10 hour bus journey so that we could store our bags... More

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect - in between the Zocalo and Santo Domingo Church. Rooms are a little on the small side and have no A/C but the rooms are very clean. Our room had a ceiling fan which helped to deal with the night time lows that were 57-63 degrees. The first couple of nights, with day time... More

I liked the hotel very much. Stayed a few nights and would return. It has a great decor and an indoor pool. Rooms were very clean and the entire staff was great. I'm rating this hotel 4 as it can be a bit noisy at times - because of the kids in the pool - and most rooms do not... More

We stayed 25th Feb 2015 for three nights. We were staying at another hotel for 2 nights, and decided to stay longer, and wandered around and found this hotel. We asked to see a room, which was not brilliant , then offered a really nice one with a terraced area over the pool which allowed lots of natural light. The... More

This centrally located Hotel offers a clean room, in a very pretty setting at a great cost. The staff is helpful and will get the extra towels you will need. Restaurant on premises as well as small pool. Rooms are small but adequate and all most face in to air shaft. has safe in room. Most of the time you... More

Stayed in this hotel for a week with a small group. Not a lot of character to this hotel but it was good enough. Best thing about it is the location - 1/2 way between the Zocalo and Santo Domingo. Room was extremely clean, water was hot, bed was good. There was a TV which I did not use but... More

Stayed at the Oaxaca Real for a week and loved the friendly staff and location. Rooms are a standard size and clean. A nice feature is the pool and eventhough its water is ICE cold I did swim 3 times. Did not have warm water 1 day but when mentioned to the front office it was rectified. Least pleasant experience... A good hotel, but the rooms are a little bit dark and with no good windows. Not fancy but enough.Great location and a bautiful terrace in the restaurant. It has parking and a pool, a little one and very cold. Maybe if they used the sunligth to warm it it would be very nice. Good enough and a little bit... More

Just two Blocks from Santo Domingo, this hotel is very good for two nights, bead and breakfast type. Very good attention but old facilities, ecept for the new TV and a good set of tv-channels. If you go to visit Oaxaca Downtown, go to a party and get around, use the hotel to stay the night and breakfast, is perfect... More

The hotel is nice but we had a terrible room: very small, no daylight, and everything in the bathroom had been repaired many times (I could tell from all the old drilling holes). We were there for one night only, so we did not really mind. I saw being advertised that they were/are looking for a handyman, that explains :)... More
