We stayed just the one night here, on part of a longer tour through Mexico. The hotel is in a great position, an easy walk down to the market and the zocalo, and not far from the majestic Santo Domingo Church. The reception area looks quite appealing, with an area to sit, and a view out to the (small) swimming... More

This hotel in Centro is ideally situated. Some doors take an extra push to close and one can hear (and be heard) by others when the windows are open, but it's background noise that adds to the flavour. I used ear plugs but having said that, its not a noisy place in that clientele are considerate and we could not... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, close to all attractions in Centro, but if you are looking for a relaxing stay this is not the place. It is extremely noisy, with no insulation between rooms which all face a courtyard. The pool is not heated, so not much swimming going on. When groups leave early in the morning, you... More

Restaurants in hotels can be dismal places to eat. But every so often there is a gem like the Hotel Oaxaca Real restaurant, a few blocks from the zocalo up Garcia Vigil. Their daily special menu has to be Oaxaca's best bargain. Three delicious courses and a big jug of 'agua' (fruit water) served with professional skill for a mere... More

This is a nice hotel, and the rooms are clean and decent, but it is VERY noisy all day and all night long. People shouting, music blaring, doors slamming, drunken laughter, etc. The hotel is open to various outdoor areas, as well as the street and the swimming pool, and sound carries tremendously. You will not sleep without ear plugs.... More

Stayed two nights. Ideally located for city centre. Contains a small pool The room was very satisfactory Good size and comfortable bed with satellite TV and locker. The hotel Itself was pleasant enough However there was loud music on both days right up to 1100pm which makes a tired traveller worse The hotel made no apologies for this. The breakfast... More

Both nights of my stay were marred by loud noises all night, the first from a busload of yelling kids and the second by the loud voices of many revelers. My room, even with the windows closed, was ridiculously loud all night. Bring your earplugs. A convenient outlet to plug in my phone would have been appreciated as well. The... More

Great Location near el Zocalo and everything, nice blue tiles on the corridors. They have a parking and it helps a lot, was very clean and the food at their restaurant was also good. I will comeback. i found a problem that used to be there at many hotels, not enough electrical conections for today`s lifestyle.

First off the location of this hotel is great, the rest of our stay was badly tainted by the horribly cold and uninterested 'welcome' we received when trying to check in. I had made 3 separate requests (2 direct to the hotel and 1 via booking.com) for an early check in none of which the hotel bothered to respond to.... More

It's a simple business style hotel. Nothing over the top in terms of style or charm. It was, however, very clean and comfortable with a nice included breakfast. I would go back here anytime. The location was just a 10 min walk to the main tourist area off a busy street. Also parking was in a secure garage.
