The good/bad of Villa Oaxaca is the location, you are not in Oaxaca Downtown (10 min drive), the positive of this is you are in one beautiful neighbourhood that is mostly quiet. Dont expect your regular B&B lame breakfast of coffee and bagels, this is a real plus of Villa Oaxaca each and every breakfast we had a well served... More

About 10 min from downtown, in a quiet residential area. They have a beautiful garden and nice shallow pool. It was a perfect resting place between our adventures. :) Breakfast was very yummy and they helped us each morning with tips for our daily outings.

My girlfriend and I booked into this hotel because we needed a break from hostels while travelling around Mexico and it turned out to be one of the best places we stayed in in two months. The family are more than welcoming (and were quite happy to put us in a room even though we arrived hours before check-in time!)... More

The owners were very friendly and chatted to us about Oaxaca. Breakfast was fresh and a mixture of fruits, yogurt and cooked Mexican breakfast. The B and B was further from the centre of town than we expected...too far to walk for most people..cabs were plentiful but they had a problem finding the address. (the card with instructions provided by... More

We arrived from Canada at the end of February, to soak up the sun and Mexican food. This B&B lives up to the reviews: great breakfasts with fruit, yogurts and granola. Pour the coffee with the hot chocolate and it's just a great start to your day. Then comes the Mexican part of the breakfast. Each morning we were served... More

We were delighted to stay 13 nights at the villa. Arriving on New Year's Eve, we celebrated with a special meal provided by the hosts and shared with them and the other guests. This unique exchange with our wonderful hosts and their international guests provided us an insight into many worlds! The breakfast was splendid-- fresh squeezed juice, fruits, yogurt,... More

The house is outside the city but very nearby. It's an ideal situation to visit the beautiful center and to have rest in the garden or near by the swimming pool. The owners are just amazing and the breakfast is always the better start of the day. Adresse d'exception!!!

This place is terrific! I visited Oaxaca during the Guelaguetza and thanks to its location a mile away from downtown I was able to skip traffic and crowds when I needed peace after a busy day. Plus, the done in-house breakfast is heaven.
