This hotel is fronted by a grand house, with a couple dozen very large rooms around a beautiful garden in back. The small restaurant is very good, as well. It's a fifteen minute walk to the Zocalo, through several streets of galleries, museums, and modern restaurants. The staff were quite helpful.

Well, the price was right. There are nice big rooms and a good sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there is a very nice big park accross the street. The lobby and dining room has the look of a well maintained old hotel. It cost us $80 US per night and was well worth the money. However, it... More

We stayed in this place for a couple of nights during our road trip through Mexico. The building looks nice on the outside, on the inside they could do some renovation.. The rooms itself are nothing special, old style beds and bathroom, but clean. We had a room on the first floor, looking out on the garden which was fine... More

We've stayed here several times and have usually been happy, but our room this time was at the back, behind the garbage cans and I don't what else. It was awfully noisy, beginning about 5 am, when staff were chatting nearby, and the garbage truck came by. After two mornings of this we were happy to leave. The hotel has... More

I stayed there january 12, 2013, and I love the original House architecture, but they did a poor work on the preservation of the building. It's all wrong, the materials are not as they suppose to be for a Porfirian mansion. So if they could improve this they would become a much nicer hotel. About my room it was very... More

Very big room in a garden, clean, well located, parking facilities, friendly staff, nice restaurant, free wifi, air conditionning, flat screen TV, sofa on the room ! Not 5/5 because : - no security box on the romm - no windows on the garden The room itself is not charming but clean & pratical.

We stayed here as most of nice B&Bs were already booked in this high season time. The hotel has beautiful faсade and restaurant area but as you walk in you see a faceless motel with basic rooms (very clean though). However the hotel staff is truly friendly and helpful.

Friendly, professional staff, immaculately clean, well-located, and well-priced. Beautiful Dia de los Muertos altar. Restaurant is very good. Excellent location--easy walk to Centro and across from the Parque Juarez, which is filled with runners, Sunday Zumba dancers, and a nice Friday market.

The walk from the hotel to the central square allows ou to see... More

I have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times in the past fifteen years and I have always been very happy with it. The location is perfect -- close enough to the city center to walk there easily and far enough away to escape the noise at night. Beds are comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, and... More
